Ren saw Karma leaving the school in a hurry.

The brunet squinted his eyes and snickered when he saw the love bites all over his neck. "Doing the devil's tango in the school eh? Those horny shits" he chuckled, walking to the teacher's lounge.

He sipped his fresh batch of coffee, inhaling the wonderful, relaxing scent-

"Ren!" He spat out his coffee when the voice of Asano Nanami surprised him. He coughed and wiped his mouth with tissues. "N-Nanami?!"

There was Nanami, sitting comfortably on the couch in the teacher's lounge, a magazine in hand. Her beautiful sunshine locks were pulled into a messy bun, some strands falling down to frame her beautiful pale face. Her cheeks were rosy, not done by make up though, they were naturally pink.

She smiled warmly at her little brother's best friend, showing him perfect white teeth. "Good morning Ren!"

"N-Nanami! Uhh" he closed the door and wiped the stain on his white button up with more tissues. "Hello! God morning--Hi, how are you?"

He mentally hit himself for sounding nervous. He was a ladies' man since high school, girls swooned at the sight of him! He's confident and held his head high, but this woman...this woman made him loose his cool and become an awkward mess.

"I'm fine" Nanami sipped her tea. "Sit down Ren, don't be shy. I'm not going to eat you"

Blushing, he awkwakrdly sat down infront of the woman he's been pining after since he was ten.

He first met her at a video call Gakushū and her were having.

He happened to be visiting that day, and Nanami was checking up on her little brother.

He became very shy when she greeted them, he'd never seen a girl so beautiful before. And when she waved at them, he had pulled up his hoodie and covered his face.

Luckily he's grown out of that ridiculous shyness for Nanami he had when he was ten. But even as a teenager, up to now as a grow man, she still made him feel like that same shy boy.

"You look handsome, as always" she praised him, smiling kindly. Ren nodded "Thank you, you are look more beautiful than the last time I saw you" he scratched the back of his neck in a shy manner.

"Haha! Still a smooth talker" she clapped her hands. "I came to visit my brother, but it seems he's still teaching. You wouldn't mind if I stay here waiting for him right?"

"No! Not at all Nanami" Ren smiled, feeling happy to get to spend more time alone with her. "It just so happens I'm free until-" be checked his watch. "Until the next hour"

"Wonderful!" Nanami's smile stretched even wider, making her look even more beautiful.

Ren felt his heart skip a beat. Still so beautiful, always beautiful, she's an angel. A wonderful, beautiful-

The sound of Nanami's phone ringing cut Ren's train of thoughts. Nanami looked at her phone screen and suddenly, took on a love struck expression.

"It's my Mira!" She excitedly exclaimed.

Ren felt his heart sank. "O-oh" was all he could say.

She answered the call. "Hello love! I'm sorry for answering your call ten seconds late!" She giggled.

"Where am I? Oh I'm at Kunugigaoka! I'm visiting my bro--Alice! Alex! Hello my little darlings! Would you like to say hello to uncle Ren? Say hi!" Nanami thrusted the phone to Ren's hands.

"Go on! Say hi to them!" She encouraged with a big smile.

"Oh--Uh, hi!" He heard Alice and Alex giggling over the phone.

"Helloooo! Uncle Ren!" The twins said in sync.

Ren handed the phone back to Nanami.

The brunet watched the woman talk to her wife and kids, expression deliriously happy, and looking like a school girl in-love when she's talking to Mira.

"I'm going to get more coffee" Ren said. Nanami appears to not have heard him. "Okay then" he left the teacher's lounge.

"You really need to move on, idiot" he told himself. "it's been years, and she's madly inlove with Mira. You never stood a chance"

He walked out side the school and to a nearby coffee shop

Nanami is his first love. His truest love. The only woman who really made an impact to him. How could he replace her? who could possibly replace such an amazing woman? Who could even-

"Ren!"

Once again, the brunet was pulled out of his thoughts by a familiar voice.

This time, rather than becoming nervous and shy, he felt at ease and happy. He didn't need to turn around to see who it was. "Hi, Rio"

"It's rude not to face someone when you're talking to them, especially to a girl" he heard Rio grumble.

"Since when were you a girl?" He teased.

He ducked a punch from her.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"To get coffee" he simply said.

"Oh, me too" Rio placed her hands behind her back, internally cheering for herself. "Let's go together then" she offered.

Ren merely smiled at her, and nodded.

As they walked, Ren kept admiring Rio's features from the corner's of his eyes.

He likes Rio. He really does, but he still has feelings for Nanami.

But he wants to move on.

Maybe Rio could help him?

But what if that means he's just using Rio to get over Nanami? That's unfair for her.

"Hey! Hurry up" Rio grinned at Ren, pointing at the coffee shop they were nearing.

Ren found himself seeing Nanami in Rio.

He slapped himself. "Get a grip" he told himself angrily. Now he's reminded why he can't ask Rio on a date. Because sometimes, he sees Nanami in Rio, and it makes him feel like a piece of trash for comparing the two women.

"Come on!" Rio suddenly grabbed his hand, and pulled him along with her.

Electricity sparked up his arm, causing Ren to feel tingly inside.
