Karma reached his hands and cupped Gakushū's face, turning him to face him. He planted a kiss on Gakushū's forehead which should have earned him a punch in the face.
But Gakushū was too emotionally distressed to do.
"Thirty days" He said.
"What?"...
It was time for Gakushū's unexpected(and unwanted) guests to leave and go home. They all promised to have another get together again soon though.
And Fuwa reminded them of the mixed junior high and high school reunion that will be taking place next week. "We'll see you there right Asano?" Fuwa asked the strawberry blonde. "Uh-"
"Of course you would!" Ren answered for him, carrying a passed out Nakamura Rio in his arms. "You certainly would, you can count on him!" He gave Gakushū a look, urging him to play along. Gakushū just rolled his eyes but nodded anyway.
"What about you Karma? Are you attending the mixed Junior high and high school reunion?" Nagisa nudged the suddenly quiet red head. "Hm?" Karma gave him a tired smile. "Uh--yea, totally--I will" he answered.
"We'll get out of your hair now! Bye!" Kaede followed her fiancé out.
Soon, it was just Gakushū, Karma, Ren and a passed out Rio in the apartment. "Let's clean up in the morning" Gakushū said, already heading to his room.
"It is morning" Ren brought up.
"Morning in a reasonable hour then" Gakushū grumpily said, not wanting to deal with his friend's sass. Karma followed the strawberry blonde to his room, and closed the door once inside.
Ren sighed and looked down at the now snoring blonde in his arms. "Sheesh" he carried her to his room, and laid her on his neat bed. He removed her shoes and socks and turned on the air condition to make her comfortable.
For a while, he just stared fondly at her sleeping face, he reached a hesitant hand to stroke her cheek, before withdrawing and gathering some pillows and a thin blanket and leaving the room to sleep on the couch. "Good night" he whispered before closing the door completely.
He was unaware that a minute after he closed the door, Rio opened her eyes. "Good night" she said quietly, feeling a little disappointed but mostly happy. The young woman felt happy that he carried her in his arms, laid her on his bed while he took the couch instead.
Ren may act like a playboy who will lay with any woman who threw themselves at him. But he's actually a sweetheart, and a gentleman. He's matured, and grown up from the annoying flirty douchebag from twelve years ago.
If there was any of his old self left in him he would have kissed her in her sleep.
Rio just laid there, a smile on her face. She wondered if she should make the first move for him.
She's into him, and he seems to be into her. They've flirted enough, and he was comfortable enough to sleep at her place once(in the guest room of course). They've teased each other enough, but still...nothing.
What's holding him back?
Meanwhile, with Karma and Gakushū.
Had his back pressed against Gakushū's chest. The strawberry blonde man was stroking his hair affectionately.
"The reason I ran away that day" Karma whispered.
Gakushū perked up. Karma sighed, and turned around to face him. "Was because I felt terrified"
Gakushū didn't know what to feel about this information. It was just one information, and he knows there is much more to it than just this.
But for now, they're both tired, worn out from hours of roughly making love to make up for the two years of being apart, and having to deal with unexpected visitors. "We'll talk about this some other time" Gakushū found himself sighing.
He never missed the relief in Karma's eyes.
"Yea, some other time" Karma agreed.
"Promise?" --Gakushū
"I promise" --Karma
"You won't try to avoid it right?" --Gakushū
"Don't worry love, I won't" Karma kissed Gakushū sweetly. "I promise that this time...things will be different"
Gakushū believed him.

Kagami: Natsuki stop ignoring me 3:20am
Kagami: This is a life we're talking about! 3:21am
Kagami: This is my daughter's life! She's a small child Natsuki! She still has so much to live fore! 3:21am
Kagami: Karma has become such a selfish, entitled, self centered man 3:21am
Kagami: Natsuki! I'm begging you help us! 3:21am
Kagami: Convince Karma to do this for his father. I'm still his father Natsuki, we're blood related 3:21am
Kagami: I'm his father, I'm family 3:22am
Kagami: Chiyo is his sister 3:22am
Natsuki sipped her wine, glaring at the texts her ex-husband sent her. She massaged her forehead, feeling angry, stressed, and tired. She pushed away the documents and stood up from the leather chair, adjusting her tie and pulling off her hair tie, letting her beautiful long brown(but slowly greying) locks flow down.
For a woman who's about 50 she still looked beautiful and deceptively young.
"I need a drink, Aera call my driver" The woman told her secretary.
The Korean woman nodded. "Yes ma'am" she pressed something on her desk.
Natsuki pulled out her phone.
Me: Oi, Hoe. I need a drinking buddy, and someone to supply me with fresh insults for my stupid ex 3:30am
Gakuho: on my way 3:30am
