Day 12
Their date yesterday was...interesting, to say the least. Karma wasn't sure why Gakushū wanted to spend the entire day going to their old dating and hang out spots, but he didn't complain one bit. It was nostalgic, visiting "their" old spots like that, Karma reminisced to their high school days.
It was confusing, because a few days ago Gakushū acted like he hated visiting their old places, much less visiting them with Karma, the guy who broke his heart and then out of nowhere barged back into his life. But yesterday they visited their most memorable, special places around the city.
Karma believed that Gakushū is willing to give them a second chance, to give him a second chance. He may not be able to hug or kiss Gakushū yet, but as long as he's allowed to hold his hand, tug at the hem of his shirt, or even jump on his back and be carried around, then that's good enough for Karma. It made his heart beat faster.
"Awwe" came his mother's voice from behind him. Karma looked and saw her leaning against the door frame, a smile on her beautiful face. "What is it?"
"Well, I just find your lovestruck smile adorable" Natsuki said, approaching him. "Hm, making you Shū-chan another bento?" At the blush on her precious son's face, the woman giggled and pinched his cheek.
"Hmm, Karma honey, if things go well and you and Gakushū get married again, I want to be the one to plan the wedding this time" Natsuki said. "I mean that lovely Nanami did a beautiful job planning your venue, but I didn't get a chance to put my touches, it was too" Natsuki placed a finger on her chin as if to think.
"Too Asano?" Karma suggested helpfully.
"Yes! That's it, the wedding was too Asano" she sighed. "Could have use more red and gold, those are our lucky colors"
The mother and son laughed amongst themselves as they fantasized about the future, about Karma and Gakushū's possible second chance at a wedding.
"Karma?"
"Hm?" Karma packed up the box and was ready to give it to Gakushū.
Natsuki looked like she wanted to tell him something important, but didn't know how to word it. Then she just shook her head. "Oh, it's nothing really"
Karma frowned. "Are you sure?"
"Yes dear, now go to your Asano" she kicked her son out of her kitchen. When he was gone, her eyes strayed to the kitchen bathroom, remembering something she found there a few days ago. "Karma, darling" she placed her hands on her heart. "You worry me...so so much"
Karma decided to walk to Gakushū and Ren's apartment instead, taking his time and looking around the streets seeing if anything changed over the years.
There was quite a lot that changed, but that was to be expected with the way time works. Nothing stays the same forever.
Karma remembered the plastic rose he keeps in a box in his room.

"You give me a lot of plastic roses" Karma said to Gakushū, his head on his boyfriend's lap. His boyfriend looked down at his with raised brows. "Hm, and so I do, what's the problem?"
"Nothing" Karma pouted, playing with the plastic white rose in his hand. "They're not as good as real ones, no offense, I appreciate it all the same but...I'm kind of jealous of the bouquets Nagisa gives Kayano-"
"Hahahaha!" Gakushū laughed loudly.
"What's so funny you ass face?" Karma growled, turning red.
"Oh-Haha!--Nothing Karma you're just--" he cupped both of Karma's cheeks and leaned down, his forehead pressing against Karma's. "You're just really adorable"
Before Karma could respond to him, he kissed the red head's lips, silencing and momentarily stunning him. Eagerly Karma kissed back with the same passion.
When Gakushū pulled away, he gave Karma a tender look. "The reason I keep giving you fake roses is because they don't die, you don't have to worry about it withering" he traced Karma's nose with his finger. "I kind of..want it to represent our love"
"You hopeless romantic" Karma snickered.
"You love this hopeless romantic" Gakushū snorted

"You look like a psycho with that smile on, little red" came a familiar feminine voice. Karma stopped walking and looked around, his eyes searching for someone, before they landed on a woman with blonde hair pulled into a braid, violet eyes nearly identical to his love's yet so different at the same time. Karma could not stop the chuckle from escaping his mouth.
"Karuma~kun~ hello" she smiled dangerously, waving a hand at her almost-brother-inlaw. "Hmm... It's been a while~"
