Karma smirked as his eyes scanned the crowd of people, he stretched his arms above his head, breathing in the air of home.
"Karma!" He heard the sweet melodious sound of the only woman he's ever truly loved for the past ten years. He waved back at the woman and he hurried to her side.
"Welcome home darling" she hugs him tightly, almost crushing him. Karma laughs and patted her back. "Can't breath" he huffed.
"Sorry" she laughed and let go of him. She looked at him up and down, smiling, before reaching a hand and cupping his cheek. "You grew taller, what gave you been drinking these past two years?"
"Milk" was Karma's simple reply.
"Will you ever get over your milk addiction?" She smirked teasingly. Karma simply rolled his eyes. "I got it from you mom"
Natsuki snorted and messed up his hair playfully. "Indeed you did, among other things. Let's go get your stuff" the mother and son walked hand in hand.
Half an hour later, they were outside the airport waiting for their driver.
"How was your flight Karma?" Natsuki asked, once they were inside the car. "Tiring" Karma shrugged.
"I see" was Natsuki's simple response as she studied her son. "So, care to tell me where the hell you've been the past two years?" She raised a delicate brow.
Karma merely smiled mischievously. "Just, around"

He was pleased to see that his room was literally the same as when he left it. His bed was unmade, his desk was messy. Scattered pencils and erasers on his desk, and the sketchbook was there, untouched. He smiled longingly at the unfinished drawing.
"I never let anyone in" Natsuki said, leaning against the door. "No one, I told the maids not to touch this room. Tell me, is it the same as you remembered it Karma?"
Karma nodded at her. "Exactly as I remember"
He sat on the dusty bed, and looked around his old room.
Then he remembered something important. Reaching under his bed he pulled out a wooden box, lifted the lid, and pulled out a plastic white rose.
He smiled, as a memory from years ago resurfaced in his mind.
It was prom night, and Karma caught a fever so he couldn't attend with Gakushū. He thought the strawberry blonde would be disappointed in him.
But instead Gakushū came to his room wearing his fancy tux and holding that plastic rose, Rio and Ren came with him carrying take outs.
Ren set the round table in Karma's room, while Rio connected her phone to the Bluetooth speaker.
Karma closed his eyes, remembering how Gakushū had held him close as they swayed. They both weren't very good dancers, so they settled for simply swaying to the music.
"Why a plastic rose?"
"Real ones wither and die. This one will last forever" was Gakushū's simple response. Karma had smiled, understanding the true meaning behind the plastic rose.

Gakushū didn't want to go to work that day, so he called a friend to be a substitute teacher and sent him details of the lesson the previous day.
The strawberry blonde man went to the park and stopped by the docks. He breathed in the fresh air, letting the breeze play with his hair as Karma used to.
He was pulled out of his thoughts(and good thing too because his thoughts tend to get depressing) when his phone rang. Sighing irritably he answered it without checking who the caller was.
"What?"
"Really? No hello? Rude" Great, it was the white haired freak. "Hello Horibe"
"Are you still depressed?"
"Why are you calling me?" This jerk never failed to get on his nerves.
"Just to see if you're still alive and haven't committed suicide or something. Well, no I know you're still alive, unfortunately. Bye" the asshole hung up.
Gakushū rolled his eyes. To anyone, it would have seemed Horibe was being an ass, and really he was. But Horibe was also showing he cared by checking on him from time to time.
The strawberry blonde felt hungry, and decided to get a bite to eat.
He went to the nearest restaurant, only to stop in his tracks when he saw someone he hasn't seen in a long time.
He could see through the giant windows a young man with red hair, a taunting yet charismatic smirk, and those forever beautiful golden eyes.
The man must have felt someone was watching him because he looked up from the menu and looked out the window. His eyes met Gakushū's.
Gakushū's legs moved on their own. One minute he was outside and the next he was storming inside the restaurant, running towards the red haired man.
He raised his fist and then delivered a powerful blow to the red head's jaw.
"YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

FanficKarma reached his hands and cupped Gakushū's face, turning him to face him. He planted a kiss on Gakushū's forehead which should have earned him a punch in the face. But Gakushū was too emotionally distressed to do. "Thirty days" He said. "What?"...
