Day 7

Gakushū woke up with a smile on his face. He could hear the birds singing outside, and he slept in a very comfortable position last night. Opening his eyes slowly, he was met with a tuff of red hair.

When his senses became cleared, he realized there was a body cuddled against him.

Karma's face was nuzzled against his neck, and he was hugging Gakushū like his life depended on it.

At first, Gakushū was pissed, what was he doing here? Did Karma sneak in last night when he was in deep sleep?

But then, his anger subsided. He sighed, and placed a hand on Karma's head. "You're serious about winning me back huh? Karma" he couldn't stop the smile from appearing on his face.

Propping himself up on his elbows, he looked down at the sleeping man cuddled up against him. He couldn't resist reaching a hand and pinching his cheeks, turning it a rosy red.

He got out of the sleeping bag, but placed a blanket on Karma. He took his phone from his bag, and took a picture of Karma's sleeping face, before placing the picture in a hidden folder.

That folder was full of embarrassing and adorable pictures of Karma over the years. It goes way back to their junior high days.

Leaving the tent, he went to a high hill to get better reception, and sighed with relief when he got two bars.

Checking his messages to see if he missed anything important. He only had some from his sister.

Ten unread messages from Neechan

Gakushū pressed on the notification.

Neechan: I hear your boyfriend's back
9:17pm

Neechan: It's good your taking a leave from work, but I'm still worried for you little brother
9:19pm

Neechan: want me to beat his ass little brother?
9:19pm

Neechan: as you know I'm part of a groupchat that keeps me updated on new events in your life. So you're giving Karma a second chance? I trust you little brother

Neechan: When you get the chance, ask him why he left with just one note for you
9:23pm

Neechan: and if he tries to avoid answering! Tell him you deserve a FUCKING explanation! >:(

Neechan: Btw your niece wanted me to say she misses you, and your nephew wants a present when you get back from your little trip

Neechan: we love you Shū
9:30pm

Neechan: Oh yea and dad wanted me to tell you

Neechan: That he expects you two to resolve whatever the fuck happened with your relationship, and that he wants a red haired grandson. Have fun baby making in the forest! 😏😙

"Seriously Nanami? And dad how are we supposed to have a baby if we're both men?" Gakushū felt a blush creeping up his neck and he fought it. "I mean if it even leads to that, not like I want to have a baby with Karma"

"That's a shame because I sure as hell do" came Karma's voice from behind him. Arms wrapped around Gakushū and Karma nuzzled his head against the back of Gakushū's neck.

"Good morning" Karma said sweetly. Gakushū bit the inside of his cheek. "Good morning too"

Karma felt happy that Gakushū wasn't pushing him away, or getting angry at him. "I'm sorry I sneaked into your tent, I just really missed being in your arms"

He expected Gakushū to guilt him again, maybe say something along the lines of "and who's fault is that?" Or "maybe if you never abandoned me at the alter you would be waking up in my arms everyday for the rest of our lives"

But instead, he heard Gakushū said something he didn't expect.

"I missed having you in my arms too"

(Author: school start for me tomorrow 😭 I have to wake up at 5 to get rid, and I still haven't gotten a new camera)
