"What do you think I should do?" Karma asked, staring at the river, his elbows on the rail.

"You know what" Gakushū pointed out matter-of-factly. "But why are you hesitating?" The strawberry blonde stood behind Karma, arms crossed.

Karma bit the inside of his cheek hard enough to draw out blood. "This is fucking messed up" he muttered under his breath, but Gakushū had approached him and heard. He frowned at his boyfriend.

"What's messed up in helping your little sister Karma?" He snapped. Karma didn't answer nor looked at him.

"Back in high school, you used to whine to me how much you wanted a little brother or sister. You said if you had a younger sibling you'd give them the love your own parents failed to give to you for half of your life" Gakushū reminded him gently.

"Why'd it have to be me of all people?" Karma grumbled but Gakushū can see there was fear and resentment in Karma's eyes. "I have my own problems to worry about" the red head placed his hand in his pocket.

"What problems Karma?" Gakushū held Karma's arm. The red head tried to yank it away out of instinct, but Gakushū held his arm firmly.

"You don't need to know" noticing Gakushū's frustrated look he corrected "Not yet"

"Then when?" Gakushū demanded.

Karma bit his lip. "Later"

Gakushū narrowed his eyes at his boyfriend. "Make sure" he crossed his arms at Karma, who nodded his head at him simply.

"Chiyo doesn't want me to donate anything" Karma closed his eyes. "But she also doesn't fancy the idea of dying. I can see it in her eyes, she's scared"

He's scared too. Especially since his medication is running out. He'll need to contact his doctor soon and ask when the next shipment for his new medicine is coming.

He can only endure this pain for much longer before Gakushū start noticing.

"Fuck you Kagami!" Karma screamed at the river. Gakushū stared sympathetically at his boyfriend. "I hope he gets hit by a bus and a dog takes a dump on his face" he heard Karma growl.

Gakushū snorted, finding what Karma said amusing, in a twisted and dark way.

"My life is screwed up!" Karma ran his fingers through his hair frustrated. He kept Biting his lower lip, appearing to be in pain.

"Hey, stop that" Gakushū held both of Karma's shoulders to still him because the red head started pacing. "Look, your lip is bleeding" he softly traced Karma's bleeding lip with his finger.

He can see in Karma's eyes he's frustrated, pissed off, and scared. So he did the only thing that would calm Karma down(both of them actually) in this situation. He pressed his lips against Karma's in a gentle, loving kiss.

No tongues, no domination, just soft and loving.

When he pulled away, Karma seemed calmer now.

"Better?" He asked teasingly.

Karma nodded, and nuzzled his face against the strawberry blonde's neck. "Thanks"

Gakushū lovingly kissed the top of Karma's head, wrapping his arms around Karma's slim waist. "I was going to ask you something, before Chiyo found us" the strawberry blonde said.

"Hm? Oh right. What was it?" Karma asked curiously. But Gakushū shook his head, "Uhh..It can wait" he assured. "I'll bring it up, some other time" a way better time, maybe when they get back to Japan.

Karma's thoughts meanwhile:

"Should I tell Shū now? This seems like the perfect moment" Karma thought. "And this way, he'll understand why I can't be Chiyo's match. I'm no good with this medical shit but I know me and Chiyo really won't work" he tapped Gakushū's arm to gain his attention.

"I need to tell you something" he said. Gakushū raised a brow and pulled from Karma's embrace.

The red head looked like he was torn. Gakushū noticed that Karma's eyes were shifting everywhere nervously. Whatever Karma will tell him must be very serious to have him worked up like this. He's never seen Karma this way before

It's worrying him.

"Hey" he gently said, placing a finger under Karma's chin and gently tilting his head up to face him.

"Let's get off this boat and go back to the hotel. You can tell me there instead" he smiled comfortingly. "I suddenly feel drained anyway"

"Oh, okay" Karma looked relieved.
