A couple of hours later, darkness has fallen, the moon has risen, and the sun has set. Karma was showering, while Gakushū leaned against the open window. For once...everything just felt right. Everything was fine now, everything was calm, peaceful. And Gakushū liked it this way

Chiyo will live a normal life

They're back home

They got married and will redo the whole thing with a proper ceremony

Kagami will face the consequences of his actions

And now he has the love of his life bound to him forever. But first, he has something to gift to his precious red head.

When Karma left the bathroom, he had a short towel hanging around his waist loosely. Water dripped down his hair to his collarbones and down to his chest. Gakushū smirked as he admired Karma's body, such a gorgeous, perfect man he is.

The red head opened his closet and pulled out his pajamas, he didn't even care that he had an audience, in fact he relished in the attention from Gakushū.

"So" He said, slipping on soft pajama bottoms and an oversized shirt. "What's this about your supposed surprise for me concerning my necrosis?" He reminded.

Gakushū smiled softly, and went to sit beside his husband. Taking Karma's hand, he the red head's fingers against his lips and gently kissed them, slowly and lovingly.

"First, don't be mad at me but I quit my job as a teacher and then I sold my company"

"What?!" Karma exclaimed. "The teacher thing, I can understand, but why sell your company?" He frowned, disbelief written in his voice.

"I sold it half a billion yen, and then divided the money. Half of it is saved in my bank, the other half is spend on a funding for medicinal experiments and a project for a new cure on a so called 'incurable' disease"

Karma felt like he knew where this was going.

"I'm funding a research for cancer, and..." Kissing his husband's cheek he said "necrosis". The hope that lit up in Karma's eyes made his heart soar, he could practically feal the happiness radiating off of Karma. "Shū-"

"I estimate it could take five..maybe ten years before we could make a breakthrough" he continued. "But I'm willing to devote all my time with you, and curing you" he kissed Karma again. "Aishiteru Karma"

He also explained that his father was giving him a high position in his company. Of course Gakushū would have to work his way to the top still even if he is the Chairman's son, Gakuho doesn't play favorites after all.

"And then I figured once I've saved up enough we can move to a new place, somewhere peaceful, quieter" he finished. "Somewhere we can start anew"

Everything sounded so good, so amazing for Karma.

A potential cure, a new life, Gakushū promising to devote himself to him forever

It all felt like a dream

"Karma?" Gakushū worriedly shook his shoulder. Why had Karma suddenly gone quiet?

"Do you...do you not like my plan? I'm sorry, I should have confided in you first before making all these decisions and-"

He was silenced when Karma suddenly grabbed his face and smashed their lips together.

Gakushū gasped in surprise as Karma bit at his lip, in the way he'd always done. And with his mouth slightly ajar, Karma wasted no time in snaking his tongue between Gakushū's gorgeous lips. Karma couldn’t help the way his hands scrambled against his husband's scalp, gripping his hair and trying to ground himself.

Karma moaned as one of Gakushū's  hands slithered under his shirt and began exploring his chest. He felt a shiver wrack his body as another came to cradle his back and pull him closer.

"Ah ,wait, wait," Karma panted, mouth leaving Gakushū's with an obscene pop.

"What's wrong?" The strawberry blonde asked.

"I just..." The red head trailed. "I'm overwhelmed" he explained, smiling softly. "I'm so happy, so relieved, and I feel giddy inside..."

"I understand" Gakushū said, gently pressing a kiss on Karma's forehead.

Suddenly, Karma pinned his husband on the bed, smirking mischievously.

"Karma? It thought-"

"Doesn't mean I don't wanna do it" he giggled. "I wanna celebrate Shū...in more ways than one, make me feel on top of the world all over again"

Gakushū smirked, before sighing with resignation. "Crap you've gotten me hard Karma" ahh well, guess they won't be sleeping tonight.
