Day 19

Gakushū woke up to a throbbing headache. He groaned, and slowly raised his head, it took him several seconds for his blurry vision to clear and when it did, he was met with an annoyed Italian man with a bushy beared. "Rise and shine young man!" the Italian said in broken Japanese.

Gakushū covered his ears, wincing at the loudness of the man. "Uhhh..." He looked at the twenty empty cups and the empty bottles of liqour.

"Oi" the man, probably the owner of the bar, snapped his fingers in front of Gakushū. "Are you alright young man?" He asked.

"Sí, sí..." Gakushū forced himself to stand up. "I..I'm alright" he said, switching to Japanese.

The man nodded. "You were quiet the wreck last night young man, you scared half of my customers out"

"Oh, I'm sorry" Gakushū bowed apologetically. "Uhh...how much do I owe you?" he took out his wallet.

"Five hundred euros" The man held out his hand, waiting for his payment. (Author: about 64,168 Yen)

"Fucking, damn it" Gakushū cursed, handing the money to the man. The man nodded at him. "By the way, the men's room is over there if you-" Gakushū ran past him and bursted into the men's room, got on his knees, and threw up on the toilet.

After his awful business, the strawberry blonde left the bar and walked back to the hotel.

He decided he's ready to hear the rest of Karma's story, and apologize to him for his reactions last night.

Suddenly his phone rang. Was it Karma calling? He must have worried his red head a lot after walking out on him last night. He took out his phone, ready to dazzle his boyfriend with his apologies.

Sadly it wasn't Karma calling him, it was Ren.

"What's up?" He greeted, pressing the phone to his ear.

"I messed up. That's what" he heard Ren groan from the other line. "I fucking messed up Gakushū!"

"Calm down, what's wrong?" Gakushū sat on a bench outside a store.

"Rio doesn't seem to be mad. But she is disappointed, and maybe a little annoyed. I'm angry at myself-" he heard the other man take a deep breath. "I almost slept with her"

Gakushū choked on his saliva. "Come again?" Should he congratulate Ren or something?

"I said I almost slept with Rio!" Ren hissed.

"Explain" Gakushū patiently said.

"I thought I was ready to accept my feelings for her. I wanted to move on from Nanami. So I took her on a date" the brunet narrated. "It was a last minute decision so I didn't have anything planned. We went to a mid-range restaurant, you know...nice enough to show I'm interested but not too over the top she'll think I'm already planning a wedding or something like that" Ren sucked in a breath.

"And then what?" Gakushū pressed.

"We walked to the park, I bought us ice cream. We ate the ice cream et cetera et cetera she said I had some cream on the corner of my mouth and when I was about  wipe it she licked it off" Gakushū can imagine Ren blushing at this part.

"I'm starting to think Nakamura has more balls than you do Ren" Gakushū teased him. Ren cursed him("fuck you man!" ) causing him to laugh.

"That...turned me on" Ren coughed out. "Anyway, next we watched a movie-"

"Just skip ahead and go straight to the point" - Gakushū

"Sorry" - Ren

"Hours later I took her home-" Ren was cut off by Gakushū. "Were you the one who made the first move?"

"No. Rio was the one who kissed me...again. I felt so happy at that moment and I think so did she, so we started making out-" Gakushū frowned at this. "On your first date?"

"That was our third date but it was the first official one" Ren explained.

"Then we were on her bed, half naked" Ren groaned. "I..I saw Nanami!"

"What?!" Gakushū exclained.

"Not literally but...when I looked at Rio on the bed Nanami's image flashed on my mind and I started feeling guilty" Ren said, his voice sounding sad and regretful. "Rio got worried, she asked why I stopped and blurted out that-"

"Tell me you didn't tell her-" Gakushū started.

"--That it was a mistake!" Ren started cussing. "She looked so hurt Gakushū! Fuck"

Gakushū closed his eyes, feeling very annoyed at his friend. "What did you do next?"

"I apologized and told her I'll see her around. Gathered my clothes and left" - Ren

"You're an idiot" -Gakushū

"I know!" - Ren

"But you're at least better than me in this department" Gakushū scoffed. "I found out Karma's sick and the first thing I did was get mad at him and left him alone" the blonde ran his fingers through his hair. "He has necrosis Ren!"

"So that's what his condition is huh? I've had my suspicions but....I never confronted him about it" Ren admitted. "I'm sorry, I felt that it wasn't my part and that I shouldn't meddle in something I wasn't even sure of"

"I'm a little mad but I understand you" Gakushū paused. "I'll call you back, I need to fix things with Karma. Also, you should go talk to Nanami for advice on your Rio problem"

"Why would I talk to the woman who's-" Before Ren could finish Gakushū hung up on him.

Gakushū got up and jogged to the direction of the hotel, accidentally bumping shoulders with a red haired man and not bothering to apologize.
