Rio punched the air a few more times, practicing her right hook and roundhouse kicks.

Half an hour later, the blonde woman stops. Panting for breath and sweating so much she looked like she just had a bath, the woman pulled on her hair tie and let her long golden locks fall down to her back.

Of course, her blonde hair wasn't as shining and golden as Nanami's, that much she knew. And also unlike Nanami's hair, which are soft and silken, Rio's locks are tangled.

It was no wonder Ren still couldn't move on from a married lesbian woman like Nanami.

Rio chuckled when she remembered Nanami's rage. She got a front row seat of the entire thing.

Nanami's screams, Nadia's cries, Nanami slapping the shit out of Nadia as she ridiculed, belittled, and scolded her.

It was entertaining and scary to watch really.

Rio gulped down her water before tossing the empty plastic bottle to a bin. She missed, so she had to stand up, pick the water bottle up, and put it in the trash bin properly.

"State your name and business" Rio grumpily answered her call.

"H-heeeyyy RIo!" Came Ren's drunk voice. "HOw yOu bEeN?"

"Ren?" Rio frowned. "I'm...I'm fine, what about you?"

"Hahahah!!!" She pulled the phone away from her ear when Ren bellowed with laughter.

"I--I wiSh I cOuLd SAy I'm FiNe, Riyuu" Ren hiccuped over the phone.

"Where are you?"

"At JoOE's"

"Joe's? That rundown bar on the other side of town?!"

She heard someone cursing at Ren in the background, and Ren hiccuping again. "Okay! Um--Wait right there! I'll come pick you up" she ran to the locker room to get her things and then take a quick rushed shower.

"Ren?!" She bursted inside the bar like a madwoman, earning glare from the very few customers.

"Oi! Woman!" The man behind the counter called for her.

He jabbed a finger at the slumped man on the counter. "This guy yours?"

"Almost" Was Rio's reply.

She walked up to the counter and took out her wallet. "How much does he owe?"

"It's alright, he's already paid for his drinks, unlike some people before" The bartender said. Then his stern expression turned to a more symphatetic one. "Poor guy, I just know that some girl broke his heart"

"Well what about me then?" The blonde thought in annoyance.

She grabbed Ren's arm and placed it around her shoulder, while her other arm wrapped around his waist.

"I'm sorry if he caused you any trouble" she apologized.

"It's alright, my bar has become a sort of hang out place for broken hearted souls" the man said. "You're always welcome here"

Rio simply nodded and half dragged, half carried Ren outside.

Thanks to her assassination training from twelve years ago, and her frequent visit to the gym, she can now drag men twice her size around like rag dolls.

"Did Nanami break your heart again?" Rio asked the barely conscious brunet. "Hey...I'm here for you Ren, I've always been here"

"Nakamura-san!" She heard an older man's voice call her.

She looked up and saw an older red haired man running up to her, in his arms was a red haired little girl. The man and the little girl looked like Karma.

"Nakamura-san...You're my son's friend right? Nakamura Rio?"

The blonde looked at him suspiciously. "Who wants to know?"

"Please! My daughter she's-" the red head and blonde looked at the pale child being carried by him. "I need Karma's help"

"He's on a vacation with his boyfriend right now" Rio said, taking pity on Karma's father and sister. Gakushū had told Ren about the meeting with Karma's father Kagami and about Chiyo's, Karma's half sister's, condition

Ren then told the story to Nagisa and Kayano while they were having a drink

And Kayano told Rio.

"Where to?" This time it was Chiyo who spoke, though his voice sounded quieter and weak.

"Venice" Was all Rio revealed.

Ren groaned. "Excuse me, sir" she walked pass the red heads, Ren still being half dragged and half carried.

Little did she know the disastrous events that would follow after she told Kagami Karma and Gakushū's location.
