"Grazie" Karma thanked the old man as he was handed the bouquet of white and red roses after paying.

He pressed his nose against the roses and sniffed the beautiful scent, eyes closed and smiling a bit. He remembered Gakushū's cologne, urging him to hurry back to Gakushū's side and apologize.

But he wanted to take his time and explore the area.

After all, he did plan to walk around here with Gakushū later tonight, when the moon is at the highest peak and the stars twinkle at them. He'll be walking hand and hand with Gakushū down the street.

And maybe someday soon he'll he walking towards Gakushū down the aisle in a church

Karma shook his head to clear away his fantasy.

He still has a long way to go and a whole lot to do before he could marry Gakushū.

Hearing his phone ringing a familiar ringtone, he pulled it out from his pocket and answered "What's up Rio?"

"How's your honeymoon with your precious strawberry?" Came her teasing voice. "How was the bed? Did it break?"

Karma rolled his eyes. But he smirked and answered "Nope, it's still in one piece"

"How many rounds did ya go?" She snickered.

"Who keeps track of that? We kept going at it until our bodies literally just-" he sighed dreamily as he recalled his long, loud, sexy night with his beloved. "Shut. Down"

".........." Rio went quiet. And then, she laughed "Hahahaha! Sounds like someone had a fun night!"

"Yep" Karma chuckled.

"So, when are you going to tell Gakushū about your.." he heard shuffling from the other line. "Health, problems?" She sounded uncomfortable. Karma sighed, and pressed his back against the brick wall.

"Soon. Real soon" he assured. Then he remembered something. "When are you going to become Sakakibara Ren's girlfriend?"

"Almost there" she promised with a small laugh. "Almost...there.."

Karma sat down on the dirty pavement ground, placed his phone on the floor and put it on loud speaker, and began plucking out some of the white roses's petals, leaving the red ones untouched because he knew how much Gakushū loved the red ones.

"Red roses remind him of me" he thought, his heart swelling with feeling.

"I made him feel bad, and we went our separate ways" Karma confessed. " He stayed in the hotel, meanwhile I'm wandering around looking for places to take him later"

"What did you do?" Rio didn't sound accusing, she just sounded concerned for him.

Karma explained to her.

Rio groaned from the other line. "Aren't you supposed to be a genius or something?"

"My IQ is reduced to five when I'm with Gakushū" Karma said with a snort.

Rio snorted too. "Gakushū's the same with you---Just get married already damn it!"

"We will, but not yet" Karma picked up his phone. "We still have a lot to do"

"By the end of the month you better be an Asano!" Rio threatened.

"And by the end of the month you better be dating Ren" Karma smirked.

He stood up. "I have to go, later" before Rio could respond, he hung up.

His eyes then landed on a ferry. He's never travelled anywhere by ferry before, and neither has Gakushū. He wondered if....

Karma brightened up, and he started running back to the hotel's direction.

Once he arrived back to their room, he bursted in and jumped on the bed, landing on top of Gakushū who was just about to go looking for him. Even though it hasn't really been an hour yet, but he was getting worried.

"Karma!" Gakushū huffed and tried to push his boyfriend off him. "I'm sorry for this morning, I don't know what came over me but I shouldn't have snapped at you like that" Karma apologized, kissing the top of Gakushū's head.

"I'm sorry too-" Gakushū started.

"I'm always keeping you in the dark" Karma looked ashamed. "I'm sorry, really, I just love you too much to involve you in my shitty problems and I worry that you might realize you don't need me and that you're better off without me and my baggage-"

"Where the fuck is this coming from?!" Gakushū sounded upset. "I never thought that! Not once did a thought like that ever crossed my mind!"

Karma's lips stretched to a smile, he kissed Gakushū's cheek.

"Hey, let's pick up where we left off. Let's explore the city, go on a date, and later tonight-"

"Doing it?" -Gakushū

"No. We're going on a little boat ride down the river" Karma snickered. "I promise, everything will make sense to you soon"

And he intends to keep that promise.

The plane finally landed in Italy! The red head stood up from his seat and gently woke up his sleeping wife and daughter.

"Layla, Chiyo, we're here" he said.

Chiyo opened her eyes. They were cold and empty, when she made eye contact with her father and mother, there was just barely any emotion she showed to them.

Her big brother, Karma, she needs to see him.
