I turned to stare into the storm outside, waiting in apprehension for whoever was getting closer. Was it Sombra? Or was it someone else? It couldn't be someone else, this is the frozen wastelands... No pony has business here, and no pony would ever willingly enter these storms. Except Sombra of course.

As a figure began to take shape through the snow, I tried to figure out if it was the stallion returning from wherever he ran off to this morning. If it turned out not to be him then I would be in big trouble, from both whoever this was- and Sombra. As the pony finally stepped into the cavern, I breathed out in relief. It was him. His fur and mane were covered in ice and snow, and as he removed his icy armour and placed it by the fire, he took in the, now clean, cavern.

"What did you do?" He asked, hoofing the ground and looking up at the ceiling.

I only shrugged and said absentmindedly, "I cleaned."

"Why?"

I raised my eyebrow. "Why? Because I have nothing else to do."

He scoffed. "That's not my fault." Sombra walked further into the cave, picking up his cloak from the floor with his magic and placing it on the bed beside me. "You were the one who was too stubborn to leave. You were the one who was too idiotic to run. You were the one who just could not seem to fathom that this relationship," he gestured between himself and me angrily, "could be the undoing of both of us. And now we're here. So don't you ever complain to me again that you have 'nothing to do'. Because I swear to Celestia, if you do, you'll wish you'd kept your mouth shut." With that, he walked over to the fire and began tending to the flames.

I stood in silence, my body rigid from how close he had gotten to me, how his anger had made me feel hot, how his breath had fallen on my face. My mouth opened slightly and, slowly, I breathed. In and out. In and out. This was insane. First I get into bed with him, and now just him being near me is affecting my reactions. I blinked away my trance, and with the thoughts still lingering in my mind, I walked over to the fire, sitting down and eyeing Sombra every so often. He looked as though he had cooled off.

As he finally stopped looking into the flames, he settled on the ground and looked me straight in the eyes. "I meant what I said. Every word."

"I know."

"But you also know I won't hurt you."

I nodded.

"And so, my warning is this: if you piss me off to the point where I want to murder you, I will go after the ponies you love. Because even if I cannot bear to hurt you, I can hurt others. Do we understand each other?"

Gulping, I nodded again.

"Hopefully it will never come to that," he muttered, turning his attention outside, where the wind still raged on.
