Sombra ran towards me, wrapping my limp form in his cloak and inspecting my body for injuries. His eyes seemed to darken as he took in the sheer number of scratches I had gotten from the wind outside alone. Some small pieces of glass also seemed to be lodged in my skin, but I could barely feel any pain at this point.

He noticed that I wasn't moving and checked my limbs before placing his ear on my chest to hear my heartbeat.

"They did this..." He whispered slowly, mouth curling into a snarl and fangs glinting like knives.

I could do nothing in response but blink.

The train car door slammed open, revealing Celestia, enraged. "You-" she started.

"YOU!" Sombra roared, cutting her off and lunging at her, teeth bared and blood lusting. As Celestia shielded herself from an onslaught of attack spells, I heard marching outside. The train began to shake and I heard three familiar screams before they were quickly silenced.

I looked up to see the princess had heard them too. She threw Sombra to the opposite side of the train car before bolting through the door in the direction of the screams. Managing to turn my head slightly, I watched as Sombra picked himself off the ground and moved his gaze to the door Celestia vanished through. I could hear his breathing become laboured as his eyes began to glow. Darkness swept through the car and all I could see was the glint of his armour as he ran from the car towards the princess, anger uncontrollable.

I was left to my thoughts as the train continued to rattle, the sound of bodies being thrown like rag dolls invading my ears. No matter what happened next, I would end up back behind those crystal walls. I had a feeling Sombra wouldn't let himself be beaten this time...

As my body began to warm up, pins and needles ran across my legs. I wobbled to my feet, pulling the cloak tighter against me as I began the slow journey to reach Sombra and Celestia. With each step I took, I could feel every nerve in my body waking up. My skin felt like it had been set alight and it was all I could do not to collapse on the ground again, helpless and alone.

The train continued to shake. As I got closer, I managed to see what was happening further down. I watched Celestia's magic mixing with Sombra's dark magic, but I couldn't make out where anypony actually was.

When I finally reached the neighbouring train car to the one engulfed in battle, a plume of black smoke rocketed past me, followed by Celestia in hot pursuit. She skidded to a stop, eyes trained on whatever Sombra was doing. I turned my head slowly.

A knife was levitated beside Hazel's throat, Sombra keeping the stallion in place with an iron grip.

"I suggest you surrender, Celestia." His voice seemed calm, but the threat behind it was all too clear.

A look of panic crossed her face before her eyes zipped over to me, standing beside her, utterly defenceless...

I was held by Celestia's magic within less than a millisecond, a shard of glass hovering dangerously near my neck.

"I suggest," Celestia responded, "that you leave my subjects alone."
