She went roaring through life
To give back what she couldn't
Receive from another
Without falling to shouldn't.
She went dancing through life
To give back what she couldn't.
A joy that she lost,
So they'd never lose it.
She went singing through life
To give back what she couldn't.
Songs lost on her lips,
When she felt words unspoken.
She went crying through life
To give back what she couldn't.
Showing the world,
Feels better unbroken.
She went flying through life
To give back what she couldn't
With no track of time,
Nor its keepers to float with.
She gave her love out
To give back what she couldn't.
Take in for herself?
Well, she simply wouldn't.
And when she ran out
Of her givings to gift,
She lay on the ground,
And gave to the earth instead.
