Be kind,
You request,
It is life's first lesson.
Do you find,
That my kind,
Has ever been lessened?
In my mind,
You are kind,
But kindness gets tampered.
Am I kind,
If my kind,
Is created through laughter?
It depends
on the kind
That you draw from a crowd.
Is laughter unkind
If I break open jaws
To pull cackles out?
But why
does your kind
Feel the need for such violence?
My kind
Is a kind
That seeks heartier climates.
And your kind
Is a kind
That seeks hearts lost in silence.
Do you laugh
at your kind
Or do you laugh at the others?
I laugh
at my kind
Until my own soul feels smothered.
Do you find
That your kind
Feels your kind is mistreated?
My kind
Is a kind
That laughs when it's needed.
It can be kind
If in kind
You laugh with yourself.
Is it kind
If my kind
I find quite amusing?
It isn't kind
If your kind
Is subject to abusing.
But my kind
Is a kind
That needs to be laughed at.
Is it kind
If it's at-at
Not with and bombastic.
How kind!
Did you know
That you brought such a joke?
What kind?
Star Wars?
Laughs walkers by Snoke?
I see his kind
How his laughter
was wild.
And results
Were fragmenting
A tortured young child.
I see the kind
Of point
you are making.
Laughs
Without kindness
Leaves light for the taking.
Be kind
To yourself
That's all that needs learning.
Be kind
To myself?
I don't think she's earned it.
Kindness
Is not an act
Met with return.
Yet you expect me
To learn
What's yet unearned?
These thoughts
Are my own
And I fear you will see.
If thoughts
Are just thoughts
Then why gift them to me?
I wrote
Not for you,
I wrote them for me.
But your thoughts
are a gift
Your kindness unseen.
I feel
less afraid
to share with the world,
Than to share
all my thoughts
'Tween one boy and one girl.
Do you
Feel afraid
Of my kind's kindness?
I do
On occasion
Fear your kind's likeness.
I thought
That my kind
You might kind of like.
I do
Like your kind
But your kindness unlike.
Unlike what
kind of kind?
You're thoughts are unclear.
Your kind
Is a kind
I can never keep near.
So in kind
Should I go?
Or would you like me to stay?
Stay
if your kind
Finds mine so appealing.
But fly
And my kind
Shall venture within.
Your kind
It would seem
Has few conditions.
Too few
Some might say
Or too many precautions.
Unbind
And be kind
You are my first lesson.
Be kind
Was the first
I must be the second.
Two kinds
Unlike finds
You are the first.
I knew of kindness,
When I stepped foot on this earth.
You had to learn it,
Despite all your fear.
Your kindness isn't lessened,
You fought for it each year.
So be kind
With my kind
And I'll give it to you.
Life's lessons we've learned,
Is kindness well earned.
