Blinded part 1

Bittersweet sixteen 🥳 part 2

This chapter might be a bit short but that's only because I wanted to make it regs point of view because I thought it was a good way to introduce the character

Rex's point of view
(because why not Rex is part of the story too)

My new friend Jim is showing me around A place called school well he's trying to but we always get stopped by people who want to stroke me and say how adorable I am it is both a blessing and a curse.

I've noticed that Jane does not require that much support I can sense that about him he is more than he's letting on. And my dog senses say it's more than the mysterious creature in his basement

Regardless I am introduced to everyone else in Jim's life Toby the tabby one appears to be his carer and best friend. Then there was that girl Claire I could practically smell the two hormones between the two it's clear that they want to mate what is the one thing I don't understand about humans I can tell when one of them are track to another and yet they show no signs of attraction rather than the hormones quite odd

Then I'm introduced to Mr Strickler..... I don't like him there's something off about the human he doesn't smell right I bark in concern when he gets near but Jim tells me to calm down so I follow his orders, The two of them are talking about something but I'm too preoccupied with my suspicions something is not right with that human and I'm going to find out

We walk away from the Suspicious human and continue on with The day over the course of this day I feel like me and Jim are being watched but every time I look around I see no one staring at us and I believe Jim is having the same feeling because he also appears to be paranoid about being watched maybe it's just nerves.

The end of the day came very quickly faster than I expected to we were about to go home when the young human girl Claire invited Jim over for dinner gratefully excepted but not before making sure that her parents were okay with having a dog in the house

We arrive arrive at Claire's it's a nice building actually smells lovely or is that just a steak that's on the table.... Oh yummy steak

I'm introduced to the family that lives in this house the parents seem nice it's not a little bit intense although there is something wrong with the baby I can smell it he's not human it's the similar smell I got from that history teacher earlier very peculiar

The humans sit on chairs while they sit round the table and I'm by Jim's feet throughout the meal he sneakily give me a piece of meat I can hear bits and pieces of the conversation they were talking about something about a blue demon although Jim tries to everyone that whatever this thing is it doesn't exist though I feeling that Jim is lying. The dinner went well everyone was laughing and enjoying each other's company and Claire walked me and him to the door and down the street

Jim: thanks for having me over your parents were really nice

Claire moved a piece of her fur on her Head behind her ear: well I just wanted to make you feel better I know about what happened on your birthday

Jim Seems sad so I ripped my paws against his feet to make me feel better: it's fine today hasn't been the worst birthday I mean I've got Rex now and the dinner with your family was nice.

Claire blushed: you're welcome... uh see you tomorrow

Jim blushed: yeah see ya

Oh my goodness, looks like I'm gonna have to put matters into my own paws Using my Lead I circle around the two Tying them up so much to the protest until finally they give way and fall over jim lands on Claire and their lips touch. Mission successful

Claire managed to get herself out of the entanglement with her face as red as a tomato: oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God

Jim I helped him up: Claire wait

But it was too late Claire was running back to the house and slammed the door Jim turned to me expression was both angry and thankful

Jim: you did that on purpose didn't you?

I put my paw on his hand to to tell him he's right, Jim stroked my head happily: I don't know whether to give you a massive hug or to punch you. Come on let's go home

We walk home but on the way there's a giant screak sound which grabs both mine and James attention as we turn around jim is lifted off the air by a giant bird

He screens and I give chase parking at what took him but he keeps going higher and higher and the thunderstorm that appeared he's getting more intense. Just after 30 seconds I can barely see that you're with them anymore they're are far in the sky. But then I see a lightning bolt hit the target with gym along with the two of them now fall to the ground luckily for jim he landed in a swimming pool of a nearby neighbour. Unfortunately he's unconscious I jump into action and call him out of the pool and into the bushes as the owners of the pool rush out to see what the sound was

Jim wakes up with a shocking expression it I'm glad that he's okay we climb over the fence when no one is looking and we immediately run back home something tells me that my life is just going to get weirder and weirder from this point out
