On Jim 6 birthday he was in a terrible accident which caused him to go blind. But with the loss of his eyes his other senses started to increase. He was able to smell, hear, Feel the vibrations on the ground along with other abilities

Okay so I have now come to the decision of the relationship side of this story if you want to know the answer you've got to stick around till the end or just skip to the end but where's the fun in that
Claire point of view
After hijacking one of the trucks for the secret base me and the others other than Stuart hide in the back going over the plan.
Stuart: so everyone clear on the plan
Jim: yes but Claire I think you should put a mask on just in case we get discovered I've got you one here

After this we all left was absolute silence as Stuart tricks of guy to let us in and backs up into a wall so that Krel can hack into a security system and send it to the blanks who are outside the base in a taco truck
I once we are sure that no security cameras are watching us we get out of the van and we walk slowly to our target if this was an action movie this would be the part where they put us in slow motion and have different camera angles of us walking down. Of course this is in the movie and nothing goes as easy as Stuart just spoils the plan

We have to pull him away because he's about to be seen by a guard, what's going on he said he memorised the roots when he escaped
