Hi everyone this is something I just came up with because I'm just double checking everything through with the next proper chapter and also I kind of thought something like this would be fun
Essentially what this is it's a short short of the DreamWorks version of Jim meeting my fanfic version I saw someone do a similar idea in a Steven universe fanfiction and I thought maybe I could do something like this. Okay on with this little bones are all and I feel like I should aja and Krel i'm not going to be in this because where this meeting will happen is in between Blinkys day out and the shattered King episode in the original and in the original version The Royals aren't in Arcadia yet.
One more thing to avoid confusion I'm going to call the Netflix Trollhunters by calling them O ( for other) and then their name like O Jim and the fanfic characters will just be the characters names okay everyone clear let's get started.
narrator point of view
After finishing up a easy gnome relocation mission the Trollhunters we're heading home when suddenly a portal opened sucking all of them through Rex tried to grab hold of everyone but unfortunately the force of the photos so great that even he and Aaarrrggghhh were lifted in as if they were feathers
They all screamed as they didn't know where they were going but eventually they landed back in troll market in the heroes forge but they weren't alone
Toby looking up shocked at the people standing before him, it was them. them as in The friends he was laying on were standing right in front of him he did a quick doubletake just to make sure he wasn't hallucinating but he wasn't there stood in front of him a Godsmack human Blinky, his wing man Aaarrrggghhh , Claire and most surprisingly of all Jim but something was different with this Jim he wasn't blind. The only friend missing from this other batch was Rexy
Toby: guys....you might wanna see this
The others looked up and were just a shock Except for Jim who still didn't know what was going on, Claire then whispered into his ear and Jim had a slightly surprised look on his face
They all walked up to the double Ganger is and just stared at each other for awhile
Claire: this is totally...
O Claire finished the sentence :...weird
O Jim Noticed Rex in his werewolf form feeling threatened he immediately some of his armour but Jim got in between the two before anything could happen
Jim: relax this is Rex is my guide dog, and judging by your reaction I'd say that you are not blind
O Jim: hold on that's a guide dog wait you're blind
Jim sarcastic: Give the man A medal he can see the obvious
The Aaarrrggghhhs were sniffing each other, the Blinky we're just moving around in sync with each other like they were looking into a mirror
O Claire: how do we know this isn't a changeling trick
Jim raised an eyebrow: if we were changeling we're doing a terrible job of tricking you I mean for starters I don't even match up with your version of Jim and also why would we bring a werewolf if we're trying to trick you
O toby: so what is this supposed to be another dimension thing? That's so awesome sauce I can finally see how handsome I am 360°
toby: why thank you you're not so bad yourself
Jim Rolling his eyes: oh so this is how it all ends Toby flirting with himself true love found at last what would the mascot of our school say
O Aaarrrggghhh: weird but funny Aaarrrggghhh have twin brother now!
The two giant green hair troll Began to play wrestle in the meantime Jim was examining o Jim's by letting his fingers run through the armour
Jim: judging by your your armour you haven't dealt with a predator
O jim confused: no what's a predator some sort of crazed magical animal
Jim thought about whether he should explain it or not but then decided against it: it doesn't matter I don't think you have to worry about them, Good to just in case if you hear something that doesn't sound human or troll do not engage the predators like to fight things that are a challenge so if you show it's your no threat it won't even bother
O jim : good to know thanks for the advice, so you're blind how can you be the troll hunter
Jim: Will call when I was six years old on my sixth birthday I was in an accident that caused a bunch of chemicals to be splashed into my eyes causing me to go blind but in exchange for that my other senses greatly enhanced I could hear of a greater distance I can hear very quiet sounds I can feel the vibrations going to the ground along with a very good sense of smell although that's more of a curse and it is a blessing especially when you have to clean up doggy Doo Doo in the back garden
O jim understand it a bit better now: oh I see so you use your other senses in replacement of your site still there I can't imagine it was easy to fight enemies
Jim agreed with his alter ego: Yeah it's kind of hard but this amulet chose me for a reason and Blinky says that it could've made a better choice though you are right it is really difficult to fight enemies especially the plague doctor
O claire who spoke for everyone in the Alterego group: The Who now?
Claire: I guess since Jim isn't blind he probably didn't turn into a Demon of Arcadia, so the plague doctor never came here wow it's just amazing how different a reality could be just by one thing that's different.
Toby: well if I've learned anything from watching Marvel what if on Disney+ it's that each universe is different
O Blinky: Also it's quite clear to look upon yourself and have it answer back to you
Claire whispered to the other Claire: so just a quick question do you guys have aja here
O Claire Puzzled: no who is that?
Claire acting suspiciously relieved: oh nobody just if you see a girl wearing red and has blonde hair keep her away from him at all costs she's dangerous
The portal that had brought the Trollhunters to this alternate reality began to close, quickly saying their goodbyes they all ran through the portal and found themselves back in their own heroes forge
Okay I wasn't really gonna do much with this I just thought it would be fun to have let me know what you guys think
Oh and while I've got you here actually I've been meaning to ask what ship do you want to see more in the story aja x Jim or Jimxclaire
