Everyone this is been like a last minute decision to add this small chapter in mostly because people have been asking me what has Rex been doing during this time period that he's not been in the story so I thought to myself why not just make a tiny chapter explaining what Rex has been doing and I think you can guess by the title he's been making new friends
This is a chapter taking place when Jim and the others went to get a kill stone
Rex point of view
In the living room of the mothership
It's been nearly 2 months since I've had my transformation I have to admit there are positives to being the size I can now get my dogfood by myself and I'm loving the thumbs. But of course with every good side there is a downside I can't go outside at least not in the daylight because I would make people scream and the next thing I know an angry mob will be coming after me like they did in the American werewolf in London that movie that Varvatos watched.
I still get to play with Looong But I'm getting more and more worried about Jim he's been unable to take me on some of his adventures because of my transformation that and I can't go back to troll market looking like this I haven't even been able to sleep in my own bed it's getting really lonely
Looong pokes at my side I look at him and then he immediately rushes over to the door that's when I noticed a claw like mine disappear from the fence and back into the woods
I open the door me and my friend Race after the figure that as it retreats into the woods and this could be dangerous could be those bounty hunter guys coming back or someone even worse
We follow the figure who begins to walk on all fours and sprints back into the darkness of the forest we quickly give chase and that's when I find something that I never thought I'd see more werewolf!
There is at least 20 of them they all look like me just with different colour for a we quickly the centre of attention
A female white werewolf jumps down I think she is the alpha of the Pack: Who are you we are the only Peck left of werewolves and who is this creature beside you
I speak to the best of my abilities: he friend Rex not werewolf he turned to one after oceans splash on his body
The other werewolves surround us I'm feeling threatened but I don't think they're trying to hurt me, female leader: then you are welcome as one of us Rex come our Peck is leaving
No I cannot leave: Rex cannot leave Rex have family here Jim the human
A werewolf with black fur marched forwardsgrowling at me: you're friends with a human that's impossible they hunters don't be foolish
The leader calmed her subordinate down for a fight could start: now now scar he has said he wasn't aware wolf before it must mean he was a canine just like how we can transform into wolves he will probably return to his canine form
The werewolf now known as scar: well then he can't be a part of a pack he's not a wolf he's an imposter
Don't I get a saying this: Rex don't want to be part of Peck Rex just wanted to make sure that you not hurt anyone in Arcadia especially Jim Rex's friend
The leader: we will not harm anyone in your town but if the boy that you speak of is not an enemy of werewolves how is that possible?
I'm hesitant at 1st to review the information but I can see now that if I don't me and looong won't get out of here any time soon: Jim protect both worlds of magical creatures like us and humans he is blind to the differences between us he sees us all as equals
Whispers from the other werewolves surprised at this information the leader silence them all with a howl: silence all of you! If what Rex says is true then I believe Arcadia will be the safest place for us however until we can be entirely sure that this human is on our side Rex I ask you that you do not tell your friend about us
That does seem reasonable: Rex will not say a word until you are ready but who are you
The leader introduced herself: Snow (yes I know that name is lame but it's the best I could come up with) now you are free to go rex but please return soon you are one of us now
I'm nod and I pick up my friend and I race back to the mothership it was surprising to find other werewolves because Blinky had said they had all disappeared many centuries ago back in the old world. He did say that when the humans started treating werewolves like threats instead of allies or night vanished without a trace so that would explain their hostility towards humans and their reaction to why I'm friends with one. Still though it's nice to know that if this is permanent and not the last of my kind of however they can't be trusted just yet especially scar he didn't seem delighted on the fact of humans he could be trouble I need to protect jim but I must keep my promise to snow and not tell him about it
Okay that's it for the structure and I just wanna point out before any of you say the names were lame I just wanna say I came up with this in literally half an hour after a friend of mine said what has wrecked been doing during this time period because I haven't had him in awhile so I just thought why not and besides with other werewolves who knows what other possibilities I could come up with a story. I mean I could be persuaded to add in some bloodsuckers if you catch my drift or maybe Frankenstein could make an appearance but I'm getting ahead of myself let me know what you guys want do you want some more monsters other than trolls and goblins let me know in the comments don't forget to vote leave a comment I think I've already said that and if you haven't already please add the story to your reading list
