On the predator spacecraft
Okay on our way home, in a commandeered alien spacecraft that's piloted by a traitor to the planet nothing extremely awkward happening between me and Jim with this awkward silence.
Oh Claire who are you kidding, why did you do that why did you kiss him. granted you thought you were going to die But still this silence in the spaceship is almost as tense as the atmosphere outside I feel like my head's gonna explode with the awkwardness
Jim barely even noticed my existence he just ignores me I can't really say I blame him I essentially violated his trust, I mean we've kissed before but again that was for a play and that was before he met aja
So yeah this is what it feels like to be in a spaceship travelling through space the empty void that it is, only feels more empty in the ship them outside it
Female predator: we're coming up on earth
Thank God, the second we get out of this takes cramped space ship the better I don't know how much longer I can take this tense atmosphere
Female predator hands me something, it's a small bag she encourages me to open it up and as I do it's a bunch of predator gear the one I remembered from the predator that I explode from the inside. In fact some of it still had is glowing blood on it gross
I ask her in disgust: i'm sorry why are you giving me this
The female predator: It is yours now you killed the predator therefore his armament all yours and by the looks of you you could use some besides now you and your mate can match
I flushed the red when I hear the word mate: hold on me and him are not together
The female predator sounded surprised: really I saw you too kiss before we thought our enemy I naturally assumed that that's how humans show affection to one another
Oh great, it's aja and Krel all over again: okay yes I feel feelings for him but he's got a girlfriend I thought we were going to die and I just didn't want to die without telling him how I feel now that we live through it this tense atmosphere between us is killing me
The female predator went back to piloting the spaceship as she spoke: why not simply kill the girl that has the one you desire to be your mate
This is just perfect, not only is she exactly like aja and Krel when it comes to earthly etiquette she's like Draal when it comes to asking for a solution: I can't do that despite how I dislike her she's still sort of my friend. She was just smart enough to make the first move and I waited too long
The female predator says something absolutely absurd: If that is the case why don't you to of you share him
My face feels like it's gonna explode from embarrassment, I'm as red as anger from the inside out movie: no I can't do that it doesn't work that way on our planet!!
A few more predator responds with somewhat of an unemotional answer: how peculiar, that is not how things work on my planet
My embarrassment dies down: wait so are you saying that the males on your planet can I have multiple Partners?
Female predator: oh no the women are allowed to have multiple mates, you see the female predators are somewhat of a rarity. With that in mind it is very important that our kind continues to flourish the only problem is is if it becomes incredibly difficult for our kind to concede we have to have a perfect genetic match with a mate and that is very rare and so more than enough times a female has to give up her child to another Mail so that they can be raised by their father
