About a month has passed, and things are....interesting, to say the least. First of all, we're all still living in the cottage, since the boat is still being repaired. That storm must have done a number on it, because Morgan and Jasper seem to be taking their own sweet time on it. Speaking of which, we have become a house of couples. Maria and I, Morgan and Jasper, Alex and James.

Now, James still has a female body, so those two can't exactly have sex yet, but they're going on a hunt for a male body almost every day. Personally, I find that a little morbid, but if I was stuck in a girl's body then I would be pretty desperate to get my proper genitals back too. Still, it doesn't stop those two from making out all the time.

As for Morgan, she's still pretty mad at me, and she won't really talk to me, but I deserve that. I hope she comes around eventually though, because I still really want to be friends. Jasper, however, definitely wants to be more than friends. With Morgan, I mean. That would be weird if he wanted to hook up with me, because he is totally not my type. I'm pretty sure he's hooking up with Morgan though, like, all the time. Based on the red marks that mysteriously appear on her neck every other day. She also makes it very clear that she's apparently over me, as I occasionally see then snogging near wherever I am. I find that a little petty, but at least she got herself an actual boyfriend.

Maria and I, however, are perfectly happy together. Our relationship has gotten a lot better since we are for sure one hundred percent dating. Yes, that means a lot of kissing, making out, and fucking, but also going on some nice dates in the forest. I absolutely love having an actual girlfriend, instead of a revolving door of one night stands. Yes, my body count, which is probably in the low twenties, is impressive, but I would throw all that away for my beautiful Latin girl that I can now call my own. Maria is mine, and I am hers, and I am totally in love with that idea.

All together, we work moderately well as a team, but it would be a hell of a lot easier if Morgan would just get over the fact that I was being a complete asshole to her before. Again. My feelings for her are complicated, but I think I've always loved her as a friend or sister, or cousin I guess. I just wish that she would forgive me and see me like how I see her. I guess I just need to give her space and time for a while longer, but that might not be an option for today, since we're going to this creepy abandoned village Alex and James found recently to stock up on food and supplies.

I'm broken out of my thoughts as I hear James hiss. "It's right over there." He points to the empty village that's just past this tree line that we're hiding behind for some reason.

"Why are you whispering, you dipshit? There's no one here, and we can see for ourselves, thank you very much." Jasper laughs, strolling out from the cover of the trees, and onto the gravel road.

James gives the back of Jasper's head a grumpy look, and Alex pats his shoulder reassuringly, then joins Jasper on the road. The rest of us follow, and we wander down the street until we agree to break off into pairs and search the village for anything useful. Maria and I go back the way we came, but continue down the road in the opposite direction. Morgan and Jasper continue forward, and Alex and James go to the right, which cuts through the middle of the town.

As we're walking, I notice that Maria is uncharacteristically quiet, as if she's in deep thought over something. "Are you okay?" I ask, giving her a worried look.

She seems to snap out of her trance almost immediately, and gives me a faint smile. "Yes, I'm fine." She says, but I can tell she's lying. I open my mouth to insist that she tells me the truth, but she cuts me off before I can get a word out. "Oh, a pharmacy! Let's go there."

She runs over to a short building that has a hole in the roof. I walk after her, feeling confused as to why she's so excited to look at drugs, because as far as I know, she doesn't take any.

The door is locked, but it's glass and it's already shattered, so we can easily walk in. I wander the isles, but apparently Maria is on a mission, as she goes straight to one isle in particular. I get the feeling that she wants to do whatever she's doing by herself, so I leave her alone, and see if there's any alcohol in here.

In my past life, I never really did any drugs, I just drank a lot. Looking back at it now, that surprises me, because I totally seemed like a drug addict kind of kid, but the only thing I used was alcohol. Besides that, I just sold drugs, but didn't take any myself. I was still pretty bad though, and I think I have gotten better. The apocalypse has changed me, and I think I actually care about my morals now.

I don't know how long it's been, but I have made it to the prescription counter, and I've been staring mindlessly at a bunch of cold medicine. I'm snapped out of my daze, however, as Maria comes up to me. I turn to face her, and she looks worried and really nervous. She's also twisting something in her hand, and I realize it's a white stick looking thing, but I can't really tell what it's for, because clearly it's a girl thi- oh no. Realization slaps me in the face, and I stare down at her with wide eyes.

"Justin," Maria says, her voice shaking a bit. "I'm pregnant."
