~Chapter 2~

Chuck settled me in as we spoke for a while. He told me what happened when he came up in the glade. I saw the same boy as earlier looking at me and I walked over. I swept the hair off my shoulder nervously still walking in the middle of the glade.When I approached the boy I sat down with him as he was still working.I kept staring at the walls while the boy finally spoke to me.

"Hey Gally new greenie I see." A boy said passing us. "Yep." He said as he got cut off from his last words. "Wait I thought we weren't allowed to leave." I said looking at him. "We're not but there runners so that's there job they run the maze and try find a way out." He said putting stuff down."Oh ok." I said while I watched the doors shut."So my names Gally I'm the leader of the builders." He said smiling."Oh My names Alison." I returned the smile back at him. I remembered my name almost straight after i left Alby from what he was saying that was quite quick for the memory to jog.

"Imma make my way to the bonfire u coming?" He said getting up. "Don't think I have a choice." I smirked.He laughed pulling him self up.I sat down by a log and Gally went somewhere with some others.After a while of sitting by myself Newt came and sat next to me. "Hell of a first day greenie." Newt said passing me a drink. I nodded getting a tad bit annoyed.

"Names Alison." "Hm nice name." He nodded at my response and suddenly i wasn't annoyed anymore.I drank the drink soon spitting it out almost straight away. I started to cough passing it back to Newt. He laughed watching me gag again."That's awful what is it." I reported wiping my mouth in disgust. "I have no idea it's gallys recipe,trade secret.""He seems nice though." I said watching Gally fight some others. Newt started to laugh nudging me.

"Someone has a crush." He said in a werid voice which made me cringe. "Ok keep it down jesus no I don't like him." "He likes u though." Newt instantly in a sing song voice. "And you know that how?"

"The way he looks at you." Newt said again taking another sip of his drink."Fair." I nodded watching him again.He knows Gally so i didn't try and protest."You should tell Gally u ain't got a hammock yet and get into his." Newt said looking at me with a mischievous smile."Yh alright I'll try."The maze made some noise and newt showed me to the runners and explained what happens. "Listen it's the maze changing." He said while I looked over. "God ok." I said shocked not even thinking it was possible."Right well let's go I wanna show u around." He smiled.

We walked around as I saw Gally floor someone. "And there we have the builders good with there hands just not a lot going on upstairs." He said receiving a death stare from Gally."Nice one mate." Gally said to Newt flooring someone again in the process. "How on earth did he do that without looking."I said shocked. "He's a great fighter." Newt said still walking.

"Here we have winston keeper of the slices.""And here we have Clint and Jeff." "Hey." They both said to me in unison.I smiled at them. "They spent most of there time helping the slices." m"What am I?" I said confused finally speaking up. "Alby will tell u tomorrow now go tell Gally the thing u we're gonna say I wanna see how it goes." He laughed a little almost a laugh to tell me i won't do it."I ain't a woss I'll do it."

"Hey Gally." I said as he turned around. "Hey Alison you alright." He asked as we walked away from everyone. "Yeah Um so I don't really wanna sleep with all the boys so I was wondering if I can stay in your hut for a while until I know them more."

"I only have one hammock though." He hesitated looking at me. "I'll sleep on the floor I ain't bothered."

"Alright if that's what u want." He smirked to himself looking at the fire from a distance.
