Sarah was laying in Fred's bed, as she'd been doing regularly since Christmas. Although, this meant sneaking out of her room at night and sneaking back in at the morning. Mrs Weasley seemed to be suspicious, based upon the narrowed eyes at Breakfast.

Sarah felt Fred shift, his hand sliding further around her waist. She knew he was awake, based upon the consistent shifting and little kisses he left on her neck. They made Sarah smile.

Another round of little kisses commenced, as Sarah stared at the wall with the window on it. Even with their vigorous cleaning of the windows during the summer, it had become dusty and dirty once again. Through the yellowed glass, Sarah could see the glimmer of the rising sun peaking over the buildings in the square. The sky was a frosty blue, and Sarah yearned to be outside to feel the chilly air bite at her cheeks.

Finally, Fred whispered, "Are you awake?"

Sarah turned, so that she was facing him.

"Yeah," She replied, which made Fred smile.

"Happy birthday."

"Thanks."

The two burst into silent giggles, as they hadn't had such a bland conversation in a long time.

"Seriously, happy birthday," Fred whispered, after calming down.

Sarah smiled in spite of herself, "I'm going to try make this a good one."

"Good. I have a surprise for you," Fred replied, glancing over his shoulder at George's bed.

George was buried underneath a pile of blankets, snoring away contently.

"Oh, really?" Sarah replied, as Fred turned back to look at her.

"Yeah, you remember that mind reading potion you made?"

Sarah's eyebrows furrowed at this, "How could I forget?"

Fred shrugged, "Well, George and I worked out how to make them into mints."

Sarah sat up sharply at this, "What?"

Fred sat up too, the duvet bunching around their waists, "Yeah. Look!"

Fred reached for something on his nightstand. In his hand was a small, metal container painted blue. Embossed into the metal was 'Mindful Mints'. Sarah took the container from his palm, and flicked the metal lid open with curiosity. Much to surprise, there was blue and white mints - the size of a paracetamol tablet - in the container.

"How?" Sarah turned to Fred.

"It took us ages because every time we tried to solidify the potion, we accidentally neutralised it. Turns out, all we had to add was flour and food colouring until it turned into a dough. Then we put it into the oven," Fred explained, as Sarah listened with interest.

"You cooked them?" Sarah gasped.

"More like baked them, but yeah, I guess," Fred shrugged.

Sarah took a moment to admire the mints once more, before turning back to Fred, who was watching her carefully, "Safe to say, you've surprised me."

Fred beamed.

Breakfast commenced a little while later, where Sarah received many birthday well-wishings. Even Tonks was there, who was more than happy to chat to Sarah about all the exciting things she could do now that she was eighteen.

"You know - " Tonks began, her hair a startling blue today, " - In the muggle world, you can now drink alcohol."

Sarah smiled at this, "I've already drank alcohol, anyway."
