A day later, Sarah sat in the Great Hall, awaiting her new timetable from Professor McGonagall. The transfiguration professor had got caught up with some particularly picky sixth years who couldn't decide what subjects they wanted to go ahead in.

"Have you seen River at all?" Alicia asked Sarah, squinting at the small crowd gathered at Ravenclaw table.

Sarah shook her head, "I saw him at King's Cross yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to say hi," Sarah replied, mindlessly stirring her cereal around her bowl.

"Me neither, I haven't had time to go to Ravenclaw and see him!" Alicia let out an annoyed hiss, which made Sarah glance up.

Before Sarah could ask, Angelina did, "How come?"

"It's hard to make time when you're in different houses at school. During the summer, it was okay though," Alicia shook her head, a small frown appearing on her face.

"You didn't mention this yesterday? You didn't even seem bothered by it," From beside Alicia, Patricia spoke incredulously.

"Well, I didn't want to burden you with my love life," Alicia snapped in reply, her dark hair falling into her face.

"Oh, look - " Sarah spotted River entering the Hall with Spike, " - There he is!"

Alicia scowled, "Never mind. Professor McGonagall is here now."

Before the conversation continued, Professor McGonagall approached Sarah on the matter of her timetable.

"Miss Copper, you're still taking the select subjects as last year, yes?" She asked, holding an empty parchment and her wand at the ready.

"Yes," Sarah replied. Professor McGonagall waved her wand, which wrote Sarah's timetable upon the parchment.

"Thanks - " Sarah took the parchment, as Fred and George sat down at the table, " - Oh, look! We have that Umbridge woman after Charms."

Fred glanced over her shoulder at her timetable, "How terrible. Debating whether I should go or not."

Sarah smiled slightly, "Oh, come on. You never know, Professor Umbridge might just be a bundle of joy, fun and humour."

Fred laughed, a strand of hair falling into his face, "Not with speeches like the one yesterday."

"Well, think on the bright side. We can use the lesson like we used to use History of magic; nap time!" Sarah joked.

Opposite them, George rolled his eyes at this, "Why are you in such a good mood today?"

Sarah shrugged, "I'm not sure. It won't last till the end of the week though."

Angelina, Alicia and Patricia headed off to charms, as Ron, Harry and Hermione sat down. They received their timetables, which caused Ron to complain.

"Oh, this is the worst Monday ever!" Ron sighed, as Fred looked over.

"That is bad. Shame, little bro. The fifth year is the worst." Fred answered, after having scanned Ron's timetable.

"Why?" Hermione asked Fred, who smiled at her.

"OWLs year, of course," Fred replied.

"Oh, yeah. They're the worst," George agreed, as he ate his breakfast.

"They can't be that bad, can they? Sarah?" Hermione turned to Sarah for a reasonable answer.

"They're awful, Hermione. I barely slept!" Sarah answered truthfully, shooting Hermione a pitiful glance.
