Sarah had been having an odd dream. She always had rather eccentric dreams and nightmares, but this one was even weirder.

She was sat in the Transfiguration classroom, surrounded by her usual class of students. Everyone was staring at various pets, and were attempting to transfigure them into glass goblets.

Sarah took a few attempts at the spell, but to no avail, the owl in front of her remained... an owl. Sarah stifled a sigh, before finally glancing around the room to see how everyone else was doing.

Naturally, Angelina had performed the charm already, and was staring at a pristine, golden and glass goblet. She looked different, younger even. She still had slightly chubby cheeks.

Sarah turned away from her, looking across the aisle, she noticed Fred and George. Even they looked younger, slightly shorter, as if they hadn't finished growing yet.

It took Sarah's subconscious a moment to realise this was in the past; fourth year, and she recalled the exact moment too.

Dream Sarah was bored, kicking her legs and looking for entertainment.

That's what she was like for a lot of her third and fourth year, starved of attention, just wanting to make a scene because it meant people cared about her for a moment.

Dream Sarah waved her wand, and watched as her Owl turned to a glass. She recalled this moment, not for acting out.

She recalled this moment because it was the first time she didn't act out because she bored and unhappy. Although, Sarah wasn't sure why she was thinking about this moment 3 years late.

Dream Sarah continued sitting there, kicking her legs for a moment.

That was until the sound of rising shouts began to play. It started as an echo, causing all the students in the class to look around. Then, the sound grew progressively louder. So loud that it was as if someone was yelling straight down Sarah's ear.

WAKE UP! SARAH! WAKE UP!

The room was shaking, collapsing. The students in the class just stared at the roof as it ca

Sarah opened her eyes, and for a moment, everything was fine.

That was until she felt the hands on her shoulders, shaking her away.

"Wake up! Sarah! Wake up!" The sound of Ginny's panicked voice met her ears.

Sarah sat up, reaching for Ginny's hands to stop her from shaking her. The lights in the dormitory were on, with the three other girls sat up in bed looking fairly confused.

"Gin? What's wrong?" Sarah asked the redhead, who was clutching Sarah's hands like her life depended on it.

"Something happened to my dad. We need to go!" Ginny told her, giving her a tug.

At this, Sarah kicked her covers back, reaching for the first pair of trainers that she saw. After hastily slipping them on, herself and Ginny headed out the dorms, bidding the others a brief goodbye.

Ginny and Sarah jogged down the staircase to the common room, met at the bottom by Fred, George and Ron. They were all clad in their pajamas, with the same nervous looks on their faces.

Professor McGonagall, adorned iin a night gown of her own, was also there, doing a quick head count of who was there.

After a moment, McGonagall nodded, before saying, "Come on. We're going to the headmasters office."

After some brisk walking, the group were travelling up Dumbledore's moving staircase to his office. McGonagall didn't bother knocking, just heading straight in.
