Sarah hadn't realised how much time she'd wasted until the third task arrived. For starters, she'd had the whole year to find a place to live, but with no prevail, it looked like she'd be going back to Copper Beech Manor.
The first person she confined her worries in was Fred, who was extremely happy about this.
"Fred?" Sarah called to him, as they sat in the Common room.
He glanced at her, "Hmm?"
Sarah inhaled deeply, before saying, "I'm really worried."
Fred's smile dropped immediately, his attention automatically turning to her, "What about?"
"I don't have anywhere to go this summer. Well, I do have my old house, but I really don't want to live there, especially on my own. But I've ran out of time to find a decent place," Sarah explained as Fred draped an arm around her shoulders.
"Was it a big house?" Fred asked curiously.
"Massive. Too big for me," Sarah replied, a frown gracing her features.
"I've got an idea," Fred stated, a sudden smile lighting up his face.
Sarah sat up slightly, eager to here what he had to say, "Go on."
"How about you stay with me this summer?" Fred suggested, clearly excited.
"Wait - for the whole summer? At your place?" Sarah inquired, taken aback by the offer.
"Yeah! Could you imagine how cool that would be. You've barely met my mum and you could meet my dad too! I think he'd like you a lot, actually," Fred beamed, his eyes reflecting the dancing flames in the grate of the Gryffindor common room.
The prospect of meeting Fred's parents didn't frighten Sarah that much, as she'd met Mrs Weasley briefly already. There was something that did bother her, however.
"What if I'm a burden? I'm an extra person in the house. What if - " Sarah began, her anxiety rising as she spoke.
" - Oh, shut up. You won't be a burden. Actually, I think Mum and Ginny would like another girl around," Fred admitted, the smile upon his face remaining.
Sarah considered it for a moment, "Okay, but I want your parents to say yes first. I'm not surprising them with my stay."
Fred giggled a little at this, "I may have already asked them."
"Fred!" Sarah hissed, hitting him lightly, but she couldn't fight the smile appearing on her face.
He laughed, before calling to George, who was sat with Lee on one of the tables, "Georgie!"
"Freddie!" George called back in the same tone, whilst some people around them shot them strange looks.
"Sarah is staying with us over the summer. She agreed!" Fred shouted to him, whilst George cheered.
Sarah laughed behind her hand, before shuffling back into a comfortable position, snuggled next to Fred.
"I've been meaning to ask. Did Ludo Bagman reply to your letter?" Sarah asked Fred, once he'd stopped screaming at George.
"Oh, no. I don't think he felt very threatened. Besides he has bigger debts to be concerned about, doesn't he?" Fred replied, a sigh leaving his throat.
"I suppose. What a git. I doubt you'll be gambling on Quidditch with him again," Sarah muttered.
"For definite. Part of me think he might win the bet though. Harry has a massive chance of winning, you know?" Fred admitted, shrugging his shoulders.
