As instructed by Madam Pomfrey, Sarah took two drops of Skele-grow before bed. Taking it all at once, especially when Madam Pomfrey wasn't around to maintain the growth, could cause the bone to grow wrong or too much.

So, two drops a day a for a week. Sarah didn't think it would be so bad, but she was so incredibly wrong.

Sarah woke the next morning, and she was fine. That was until she attempted to get up.

"Ow!" Sarah hissed, a jolt of pain traveling from her neck to wrist.

"You good?" Patricia called, as Sarah straightened up.

"Yeah, I think so," Sarah replied after a moment.

She attempted to move her arm, roll her shoulder, even turn her head properly, and found that all these motions led to some degree of pain and acheness.

Sarah stifled a frustrated groan, before standing up. She went to have a shower, which wasn't too bad. Although, she had to shampoo her hair with one arm.

Getting dressed after the shower was torture. Pulling on her school uniform took two hands, which mean Sarah was withering in pain as she did it. Thankfully, Alicia helped her with her buttons and tie.

Sarah reached for her bag as she walked out the door of the dormitory, and had to put it on the other shoulder. It felt odd.

"This weeks going to be rough for you, Sarah," Patricia said, as the girls headed to the Great Hall.

"I know. I didn't think it would be as bad as this. Maybe I over did the skele-grow," Sarah said thoughtfully.

"I suppose you won't be at Quidditch practice this week," Angelina grumbled unhappily. She was stalking behind the group.

She'd been acting odd for a while.

"You still had hopes for that?" Sarah laughed, glancing at Angelina over her shoulder.

Alicia smiled, "She couldn't even do her buttons this morning! No chance she's hitting a bludger."

"Might not even be able to raise the bat," Patricia added on.

Sarah grinned, "Ha! On the bright side, I could do with a week off. It might be nice."

"I suppose I'll have to quit the season soon too - " Alicia said thoughtfully, " - Angie, you have a chaser lined up right?"

Patricia, Alicia and Sarah turned to Angelina, who shrugged nonchalantly.

Alicia shot Sarah and Patricia a significant glance, before saying, " Oh, well I suppose we'll have to find one. You know any decent chasers, Sarah?"

"No more than you do," Sarah replied, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.

Suddenly, Luna Lovegood appeared in the corridor, weighed down by a hefty pile of magazines.

"Hello, everyone!" Luna's soft, cheerful voice called from behind the pile.

Sarah came to a stop in front of Luna, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Luna? What are you doing?" Sarah asked, as Alicia stood on her tip toes to peer at the cover of the magazines.

"Delivering the Quibbler to everyone. Would you like one?" Luna replied. Her arms seemed to be shaking under the weight of the magazines.

Patricia slid a magazine from rhe top of the pile, and read:
