After Harry had settled in, Mrs Weasley got the entire group back into cleaning the house once more. She insisted that they resume with cleaning the drawing room. The room was a large rectangle, with the fireplace at one end of the room, with the window showing the square in front of the house. There was leather green sofas, which were worn beyond repair. The room had a distinct scent of cigarettes.
"There's the largest infestation of Doxy's behind that curtain, so we all need to be careful - " Mrs Weasley began, putting a mask over the lower half of her face, " - We all need to take a spray. Try not to get bitten, but if you do, we have some antidote here."
The word 'antidote' made Sarah yearn making potions again, which was one of the reasons she was so eager to return to Hogwarts. In a house like 12 Grimmauld Place, it was hard to make potions without someone finding her.
Sarah shook herself from her thoughts, putting a mask on herself. She then proceeded to tie her hair up on Mrs Weasley's request, as apparently, Doxy's liked to grab. She picked up a spray bottle, and went to her allocated spot.
"Okay - three, two, one - spray!" Mrs Weasley pulled the curtain back.
In seconds, several leathery creatures flew out at them. Hastily, Sarah sprayed one straight in the face, causing it to freeze in mid air, a malicious look implanted upon its face. Sarah caught it before it fell onto the floor, holding it by its large ear.
"Nice shot," Fred appeared behind her, causing her to jump and drop the doxy.
"Fred!" Sarah gasped, attempting to breath again, whilst Fred laughed.
"So sorry. You know that Doxy you just dropped?" Fred got to the point immediately, as Sarah reached down to pick the Doxy up.
"Not personally, no," Sarah replied with a grin. She went to go drop the Doxy in the bucket, but Fred grabbed her arm, pulling her back.
"How about I go put that away for you, hm?" Fred asked her, holding out his palm to take the Doxy.
Sarah squinted at him for a moment, before she leaned in slightly.
"What are you up to?" Sarah whispered.
Fred seemed to smile, although Sarah couldn't tell as he was wearing a mask, "Nothing exciting, love. Now give me the doxy."
Sarah tilted her head at him, "No. I don't think I will, unless you tell me what you're planning to do with it."
Fred stifled a sigh, before replying, "George and I want to experiment with Doxy venom."
Sarah knew enough about Doxy venom to know that it was poisonous.
"I don't think that's a good idea. You know it's poisonous, right?" Sarah relayed her thoughts to Fred, who laughed at her concern.
"Don't you worry your little cotton socks, George and I know what we're doing," Fred replied.
Sarah's grip on the Doxy must've loosened, because Fred took it from her with little to no resistance. Sarah sighed as she watched her boyfriend walk away with the doxy in hand.
"Sarah, come on! There's more doxys here!" Mrs Weasley called to her. Sarah nodded, moving closer to the bucket so that Fred couldn't steal anymore doxys from her.
After another week of cleaning, in which they cleared the Drawing and Dining rooms, the return to Hogwarts came fast approaching.
"Guess what?" Fred walked into Sarah Hermione and Ginny's room, the evening before September 1st. At that moment, Sarah, Ginny and Tonks were present within the room.
