Sarah was up bright and early the next morning, getting ready to go to Ivory Records. She'd pulled on her nicest pair of jeans, some chunky trainers and a graphic t-shirt. It was still quite hot, so Sarah ditched the jacket that she'd been planning to wear.

After curling her hair, and briskly doing some makeup, Sarah left the bathroom to take a seat on the sofa. She sat there for a moment, eyes glued to the ceiling, in disbelief.

"You okay?"

Sarah glanced in the direction of Fred, who was dressed in his magenta robes for work. Everytime she saw him or George wearing them, she thought of Capri's reaction the first time she'd seen them. Capri had visibly flinched at the sight of the colour, and then proceeded to offer different colours to the pair. It was the future fashion designer in the making, Sarah had said.

Fred cleared his throat, and Sarah shook herself from her thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just psyching myself up. I'm about to meet my boss," Sarah sounded more nervous as she went on.

Her usual confidence was gone when she needed it most. Fred shot her a sympathetic look as he took a seat beside her on the sofa.

"It might seem scary, but you'll be fine. You have a habit of charming everyone you meet," Fred told her, adjusting his collar.

Sarah sat up straight, "Oh, I know it'll be fine. It doesn't stop me from being nervous, though! Merlin, I kind of understand what normal people feel like."

Fred laughed slightly, "If my theory of you being an concoction of an outerspace deity and simple earthling like me, then I'd say it's the human in you."

Sarah let out a suprised laugh at this, "What? Where did this theory come from?"

Fred struggled to speak as he laughed too, "You surpass everything a normal person is."

Sarah furrowed her brow, "How?"

"Well, you're more beautiful -" Fred began, and Sarah slapped a hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh.

"Are you kidding me? All that to lead into a cheesy pick up line?" Sarah asked him, arms crossed over her chest.

Fred stood up, after having glanced at the clock on the wall, "I like to think I keep you on your toes."

Sarah shook her head with a smile on her face, "Whatever floats your boat, Fred."

Fred leaned down, kissing her hair, "Have a good day, darling."

"I'll try. I love you," Sarah replied, as she too got to her feet.

"I love you, too. See you later."

Fred waved, before leaving the flat. Sarah could hear his heavy footsteps descending the metal steps into the backroom of the shop. Sarah supposed that she should leave for Convent Garden too.

Sarah apparated to Covent Garden, hidden behind a bout of vibrant bushes. She found the postcode of the building on the letter, and guided herself in the direction.
