"What about that pink floral dress you have, Ange?" Alicia suggested, bouncing her baby, Byeol, on her knee.
"No," Sprawled out on the other side of the sofa to Alicia, Angelina replied instantly. "Too formal."
Curled up in the armchair with Capri's fluffy green blanket, Patricia stated, "It's a date, isn't it? It's supposed to be formal."
Sarah, who was knelt on the floor beside her brand-new, black suitcase, rolled her eyes at the conversation, "Isn't this also like your fifth date? Surely what you're gonna wear isn't an issue anymore?"
Sarah was packing for her tour, which she would be departing for tomorrow morning. The rest of March and first half of April had snuck by her in a blur of potion-making and rehearsals. The girls had come to keep her company as she packed, and so whilst she knelt on the floor deciding what she needed to take, they kept up the conversation.
The conversation had quickly turned to Angelina's fifth date with Oliver Wood. Every time she had seen her friends recently, the conversation always included a discussion of this new relationship. It was the most exciting thing to happen to their group in ages.
"But what if this is the date where he - I don't know, for example, invites me back to his place?" Angelina sat up straighter. "What will I do then?"
"Make sure you wearing nice underwear," Patricia advised with a grin.
Sarah and Alicia laughed, whilst Angelina hit Patrica with one of the sofa cushions.
"You guys are useless," Angelina shook her head with a smile, and then turned to Byeol, "What do you think, huh, Byeol? What should Aunt Angie wear on her date?"
Sarah glanced up from folding her clothes. Byeol replied to Angelina's question in a series of incomprehensible babbles and coos. There was some excited arm waving that accompanied her response, making Sarah smile.
Byeol was soon-to-be eight months old, which still shocked Sarah. It was as if it were yesterday that herself and Fred were woken up in the middle of the night with a letter from River announcing his daughter's birth. Byeol had grown immensely since then, from a wrinkly newborn to a sweet, chubby baby. Sarah swore Alicia had created her little twin, as all she could see in the baby's dark hair and familiar brown eyes was her friend.
"Excellent advice," Angelina cooed, booping Byeol on the nose.
"Such a way with words, Byeol," Sarah called in a high-pitched voice, the one reserved for small children and cute animals.
"So clever," Patricia beamed at the baby.
Naturally, they all fawned over Byeol. Alicia was practically Sarah's sister, so she had to do justice to her 'Aunt duties'.
"Seriously, guys," Angelina said, returning to her usual tone of voice. "What should I wear?"
Sarah stifled a sigh, reaching for a long-sleeved white top to fold, "Well, what is the date going to be? Fancy dinner? A hike? Pub? The type of date dictates the outfit."
Angelina relaxed back into the sofa, hugging the cushion to her chest, "I'm not sure. He said it's a surprise - "
"Oh?" Alicia said excitedly. "I wonder what it'll be!"
"Something Quidditch related, surely," Patricia said with certainty, pulling the blanket to her chin.
"You know he's not all about Quidditch, don't you? He has other interests and . . . personality traits, and what not," Angelina raised a brow at Patricia.
"I don't know him as well as you do, Angie," Patricia replied. "In all the times we've ever spoken, the conversation is somewhat revolving around Quidditch."
