Sarah pressed her back against the cold, dungeon wall. It was lowly lit, as expected seeing as it was far past curfew. Even with this in mind, Sarah took the 'Teachers Only' passage.

She thought she'd be free of any encounters, but Professor Snape loomed around the corner with a Slytherin in tow. She covered her mouth in hopes it would disguise her breathing.

"May I ask why you are out of bed?" Professor Snape questioned. Sarah gulped, subtly glancing around the corner.

The Slytherin looked horrified, which he rightfully should be. Coming across Severus Snape in times and places where you're not supposed to be is frightening.

"I - I - I don't know, Sir," The Slytherin quivered. Snape rolled his eyes, sending the student to his common room, along with a Detention slip.

Sarah sidestepped, as quietly as she could, back in the direction she came from. Tantalisingly slow, Sarah shuffle her way back to the end of the corridor.

She wasn't quick enough, or her luck was just rotten.

"Saaaraaah."

Professor Snape's footsteps were closing in. Her heart sped up. So did her pace.

She was running towards the staircase, heavy-footed. Snape knew she was down here.

'Saaaraaah. I know you're down hereee,"

That wasn't Professor Snape's voice.

She turned the corner, bombarding into the thing she wasn't expecting...

"Oh my god!" She squealed, jumping straight out of her bed. It was the middle of the night and her shriek had woken the other girls up.

"Sarah? You good?" Patricia groaned from the other side of the Dorm. Sarah nodded, but realised Patricia couldn't see her.

"You sounded very.. scared," Alicia piped from the darkness.

"Yes, I'm fine. I just had the weirdest dream - no, nightmare?" Sarah rambled, whilst Angelina shuffled out of bed to switch on the lights.

Sarah was pacing the width of the room, her hands running through her hair as she attempted to calm her heart rate.

"Must've been a good one, huh?" Angelina murmered, following Sarah with her eyes.

"What happened?" Alicia questioned, kicking back her covers.

"Yeah, what happened?" Patricia repeated, approaching Sarah.

"Well, I was going down to the Ingredient's cupboard -" Sarah began, but she heard the girls sigh, " - and I was going through the Teachers Only passage. I think it was like midnight?"

"Right," Angelina dragged out, urging Sarah to continue.

"Then I overheard Snape giving a student a detention for loitering," Sarah continued, beginning to get dizzy from the pacing.

"Poor guy," Patricia mumbled incoherently.

"He was a Slytherin, I think," Sarah clarified, but she hadn't heard Patty.

"Oh, nevermind," Patricia mumbled again.

"Well, what happened next?" Angelina urged. Her eyes hadn't left Sarah once.

"Well, then I heard Snape approaching me. I heard his footsteps and his cloak swishing. So I ran in the other direction," Sarah continued, her heart rate speeding up again. Her hands were clammy.
