Sarah was up bright and early on the 21st of February, her hair tied up in a high ponytail. She headed down to breakfast with Angelina and Alicia.

"You got your gloves, Sarah?" Alicia asked, as they turned the corner into the Great Hall.

"Yeah," Sarah replied, as they took their seats at Gryffindor table.

Today was the long awaited Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff game, which both houses were training vigorously for.

Sarah had made enough of pain potion so that the team could play without aching limbs.

After a brisk breakfast, the three girls headed down to the pitch, where they quickly ducked into the Gryffindor tent. Ginny and Jack Sloper were already there. Sloper was sat on the bench, anxiously bouncing his leg up and down, whilst Ginny was tying her hair into a ponytail.

"Good, you're here!" Angelina nodded firmly, before turning away to roll out parchments of Quidditch formations.

As Angelina mumbled to herself, Sarah slipped her robes over herself, being careful to tie them tightly around her waist. These used to belong to Fred, who possessed much broader shoulders and a wider waist than herself. She always looked like she was swimming in these robes.

The team members present all stood around the table, eyeing the Quidditch formation with intrigue.

"Hawkshead Attacking Formation? Don't you think we should stick to defence on this one?" Alicia inquired, shooting a nervous glance at the entrance of the tent.

Angelina shook her head, "That would be futile. The way to win is to shoot as much as we can. Then, Ginny can catch the snitch and it'll be an easy win."

Ginny stared at the parchment for a moment, before whispering, "You guys seem to be forgetting that I'm not as good as Harry."

"Well, it's the best plan we have," Angelina mumbled roughly, as Katie strode into the tent.

Angelina filled Katie on the plan for the chasers and seekers, before her eyes fell to Sarah and Jack. The two had been leaning against the table, occasionally sharing anxious glances.

"Beaters. Of course, I should utilise you two, seeing as you guys can do the damage!" Angelina facepalmed.

"What do you need us to do?" Jack asked, standing up straight.

"Aims for the chasers in Hufflepuff. We need them to make the least goals possible." Angelina stated.

"Okay," Sarah replied with a nod, reaching for her bat. Fred was right, the gloves did help her from clutching the bat too tight.

Her bat had changed over the past months of using it. Well, for one, it wasn't Fred's anymore. A part of him still remained with the bat, with his initials engraved upon the handle. Beside them, Sarah had carved SC into the wood too. Fred thought it was cute.

Sarah shook herself from her thoughts as a pale Ron Weasley stalked into the tent. He took one look at the team, before letting out a sigh.

"Come on, Ron! You're late! We've got a game to play!" Angelina tried to psych him up, giving him a pat on the shoulder as she walked past him.

Ron let out an incoherent mumble, causing Jack to turn to Sarah.

"We've lost, haven't we?" He whispered.

Sarah nodded, a frown befalling her face.

The wind was rushing through Sarah's hair, as she steered her bat with her left hand around the pitch. Her bat with held in her other hand, awaiting.
