April 1 was an incredibly special day to Sarah now. Seeing as March had passed as ordinary, April had to be good. It was also Fred and George's birthday.

Due to this, Sarah decided to celebrate in a Weasley-twins-esque way. Perhaps she'd get detention, but that seemed rather remnant of the twins too.

She'd been brainstorming for the entirety of March, keeping her plans well hidden from the boys. As far as Sarah was aware, they had no clue of what was to happen on April 1.

The day began as any with Sarah waking up much earlier than the other girls. Whilst they snuggled further into their blankets, Sarah tiptoed to the shower.

After a warm shower, Sarah did her toothbrush, her makeup and her hair. This took about half an hour, but Sarah was by no means short of time.

Actually, she had more than enough.

Sarah grabbed her jacket and a bag at the front of her bed, before quietly treading out her Dorm. She closed the door as quietly as she could, before heading on her way.

The first place she had to go was the Astronomy tower. She prayed she didn't find two students up there together, as everyone knew what happened when you agreed to meet someone at the Astronomy Tower.

By the time Sarah had topped the spiral staircase, she was out of breath and red-faced. She grumbled in annoyance to herself, before heading to the open window.

It was large, spanning nearly half the tower. Lined up against it were telescopes and miscellaneous astronomical devices. Thankfully, Sarah was alone.

Sarah nudged some telescopes out the way as she reached into her pocket for her wand. She pulled a textbook out of her bag and with shivering hands, flicked away the pages until she found the right one.

The sun was only rising, so there wasn't much light to see the writing. Due to this, Sarah lit her wand up with a soft, "Lumos."

On the page, it read:

Make it snow with 'Stiricidium'

Please note that snowflake sizes may vary.

Sarah took a deep breath, before raising her wand to the sky and chanting the word, "Stiricidium!"

As soon as she'd said it, the orange sky disappeared, replaced with bright, grey clouds. Sarah waited for a moment, as nothing happened.

She held out her palm and with a joyous laugh, realised that it was actually snowing. Fat snowflakes fell from the sky, raining upon the castle and grounds. In no time of standing there, the grounds were covered in a layer of snow.

Sarah grinned, stuffing her book into her bag. She lifted it over her shoulder, running down the spiral staircase.

The next place she headed was to the Great Hall. As she expected, it was empty. Sarah turned around, so it was as if she was walking out of the Great Hall. She took several steps away from the doors, before withdrawing a potion from her bag.

She uncorked the potion, pouring it onto the concrete in a large semicircle. The concrete appeared dark grey, but Sarah was confident it would dry.

Then, she ran along each of the house tables, depositing balloons and confetti cannons. After a moment of consideration, Sarah decided to put some on the Teachers table.

After this, Sarah grabbed her bag, running out the hall. She rounded the corner, jogging dwon the stairs to the basement. She hurried past the Hufflepuff Common room entrance, straight to the portrait of the fruit.
