The beginning of the day had been the same as any. well as normal as you could get within Grimmauld Place. Their day started off with clearing out Fred and George's new room, as the other one got flooded somehow (The twins looked oddly guilty when the topic came up at dinner).

"Okay, this time, let's not blow up any powders into our face, yes?" Mrs Weasley called, her eyes landing upon Fred.

Fred shrugged, "You know, it wasn't as bad as most of you thought."

Sarah knew exactly why he said this, so she quickly occupied herself by trying to open a black bin bag.

As they began cleaning, a familiar voice drifted through the room, causing Sarah to turn towards the doorway sharply. Hermione had finally arrived, her frizzy hair resting upon her shoulders.

"Merlin's pants, this place is a mess," Hermione gasped, stepping over a pile of precariously balanced bin bags.

Ginny's face lit up as she rushed to greet Hermione, "You came!"

"Yeah, of course I did!" Hermione beamed, as she pulled away from Ginny's hug.

"It's good you're here. I have so much to catch you up on. From Harry's letters, I have a feeling he's been a bit frustrated recently," Ron told her, after also giving Hermione a hug.

"Yes, I think so too. Hopefully, he can come here soon," Hermione sighed with a frown.

Before the conversation could go on any further, Mrs Weasley handed Hermione a pair of rubber gloves, "Now, now. You can catch up later! We have a room to clean, or those two won't have anywhere to sleep tonight!"

As Hermione pulled on the rubber gloves, she looked around the room with dread, "God, where do I start?"

After a hard day of working, the group was ushered upstairs, as an Order meeting was going on.

"So, this is what happens around here? You clean, eat and sleep?" Hermione sighed, collapsing onto one of the beds.

"Sounds about right," Sarah mumbled, taking a seat on the bed too.

Ginny and the twins sat on the other bed, so they were opposite to Sarah. Ron, in the meantime, fed Pigwidgeon some treats.

Hermine laughed slightly, "So, I take it you didn't find a house?"

Sarah rolled her eyes, a smile appearing on her face, "Now, what made you think that?"

Ginny laughed at this, "You know, I'm glad you didn't find a house. It's nice having you here."

Sarah nodded, "Yeah, but I'll need to find a place next year. At least I understand the property market better now."

"Still confusing to me," Ron called, as he threw Pig an owl treat.

"Understandable," Sarah replied, as she crossed her legs.

"You know what?" Fred suddenly piped up, glancing at George.

"What?" Ginny called irritably.

"I know how we can stay updated on this You-know-who business," Fred suddenly stood up.

With a crack, himself and George apparated.

For a moment, the group sat in silence.

With another crack, Fred and George reappeared, holding flesh coloured, worm-like string.

"What the fuck is that?" Sarah asked softly.

"These - " Fred held them up proudly.

" - are Extendable Ears!" George finished with a beam.
