On the rainy day that was October 26th, a notice was posted in Gryffindor Common room. This notice left people shocked, excited and quite confused. With their superiority as sixth years, Sarah and her group of friends pushed through the crowd to read what the notice said.
For the first time in many years, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will be host to The Triwizard Tournament, a competition that focuses on the connection of magical school across the Wizarding World. Three schools will take part;Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Beauxbatons Academy of Magic
Durmstrang Institute.
Students of the following schools will be arriving three days from now, so please tidy your common rooms for the tour we will be giving them. More about tournament will be explained in three days time, when all the students have arrived.
Thankyou,
Professor McGonagall.
"Holy shit!" Sarah gasped, sharing a look of surprise with Patricia.
The four girls hurried out of the bustling crowd, stumbling towards the Portrait entrance. They shared several excited whispers, before they noticed Professor McGonagall standing there. The twins were too, entertaining McGonagall with their bullshit."Hey, boys," Sarah greeted them.
"Hey, tin!" George greeted.
"Sarah," Fred seemed surprised to see her there.
"Miss Copper, before Mr Weasley and Mr Weasley whisk you away to do something stupid - " Professor McGonagall began, eyeing the mess that was Gryffindor house.
"Professor! We would never -" Fred interrupted her.
" - take Sarah away to do something stupid -" George continued.
" - Besides, Sarah enjoys it," Fred finished,. They were both grinning like idiots.
" - I was hoping that you would sing to showcase the Music department when the schools arrive this Saturday," Professor McGonagall finished, shooting the twins a look.
"Oh, Saz! I've never heard you sing before, you should do it!" Alicia encouraged.
"Yeah, I wanna hear you sing!" Patricia added, and Angelina hummed in agreement.
Sarah's eyes shot between all three parties of the conversation before she made up her answer.
"Alright, as long as River Parkes gets to sing with me and I get the auditorium to practice in," Sarah bargained. She could see the relief in Professor McGonagall's eyes.
"Done and done. Thankyou, Miss Copper! EXCUSE ME?, MR FINNAGAN! - " McGonagall walked away, whilst Alicia squealed in delight.
"River can sing? He just got like 10 times hotter - " Alicia whispered to Patricia, who already looked fed-up.
Sarah turned to the twins excitedly to see a sour look upon Fred's face.
"What's with the face?" Sarah asked.
"If you do this, then you won't have any time for the Halloween prank," Fred told her, rather sadly. She felt bad, especially when she saw the puppy eyes he could pull.
