~Day 502~

"Oh my god." Rebecca spoke, her eyes widening in shock. Karen and David's bodies were burnt to a crisp. The horrific smell was beginning to get to her. She turns, letting out a violent cough into her arm. Daryl turns to her, concerned. "You alright?" he quietly asks, Rebecca nods, her left hand grabbing the hem of her shirt, bringing it up to her nose. "I'm fine," she assures him.

"You found them like this?" Rick asked Tyreese who stood over the burnt bodies of Karen and David in the courtyard. "I came to see Karen." Tyreese informed Rick. "And I saw the blood on the floor." Rebecca's eyes follow the trail of blood from the door to the bodies. She racked her brain as to who would do this but came up empty.

"Then I smelled them. Somebody dragged them out here and set them on fire. They killed them and set them on fire!" Tearing his eyes away from the bodies, Tyreese took a step towards Rick with anger glimmering in his eyes. Rebecca draws her hand away from her nose, her fingers curling around her hunting knife as she moved closer to Rick. "You're a cop. You find out who did this and you bring 'em to me. You understand? You bring 'em to me." He instructed, his voice cracking as Daryl stepped behind him and reached out.

"We'll find out who-" He started, only for Tyreese to push his hand away. "I need to say it again?" Rick shakes his head. "No. No. I know what you're feeling. I've been there. You saw me there. It's dangerous." He explained. "Karen didn't deserve this. David didn't deserve it. Nobody does." Tyreese yelled.

"All right, man, let's-" Daryl stated, stepping forward one more time to wrap his hand around Tyreese's arm. In a flash, Tyreese pushed Daryl up against the metal bars of a gate. Carol gasped in shock as both Rebecca and Rick rushed forward, the hunting knife now in Rebecca's hand. She goes to wrap her arm around Tyreese's neck but Daryl quickly raised his hand, signaling her to back down. Rebecca lowers her arm down, taking a step back.

"Man, I ain't going nowhere till I find out who did this!" Tyreese, screamed.  Daryl's eyes met Tyreese's. "We're on the same side, man." "Hey, look, I know what you're going through. We've all lost someone. We know what you're going through right now, but you've got to calm down," Rick spoke, carefully reaching his hand out to touch Tyreese's shoulder.

Blinded by rage, Tyreese turned around and roughly pushed Rick away. "You need to step the hell back!" He roared. "She wouldn't want you being like this." Rick informed, glancing down to Karen's burned body. Rebecca gasped as Tyreese swung his fist directly into Rick's face, sending him down to the ground. Quickly, both she and Daryl sprung forward in attempt to stop Tyreese. "No! Stop!" Carol cried as Tyreese threw another punch at Rick.

"Stop!"

Rebecca jumped onto Tyreese's back, her knife pressed up against his throat. "You make another move and I'll cut you," she warns Tyreese as Daryl steps in front of the man, placing his hands onto his chest, pushing him back. "That's enough," Daryl tells him.

Still on Tyreese's back, Rebecca glances up to see Carol pulling Rick up. Rick and Rebecca locked eyes. With a nod, Rebecca knew what Rick wanted to do so she quickly jumps off his back and steps over to Daryl, her hand curling around his bicep as she pulls him away.

Rick stumbles over and swung his fist into the side of Tyreese's face. Tyreese falls down onto the concrete. Rick storms over, slamming his foot into Tyreese's side, knocking him down onto his back. Tyreese lets out a groan as Rick stands over him and starts throwing punches into his face.

"Rick. Stop," Daryl orders as he wraps his arms around Rick's shoulders. "Let go off me!" Rick yells as Daryl pulls him off of Tyreese. Rick manages to break free of Daryl's grasp and shoves him over to Rebecca who instantly takes his hand into hers.
