~Day 82~

The group was starting to become uneasy since they had heard a gunshot a few moments ago.

"I'm going after them," Andrea said getting up from the couch. "Don't. They could be anywhere and if Randall comes back, we're gonna need you here." Lori told her.

The sound of the door opening caught everyone's attention as they turned towards it to see Glenn and Daryl walking in. Relief washed over Rebecca as she saw that the two were back unharmed.

Daryl glanced around the room. "Rick and Shane ain't back?" Rebecca shook her head. "We heard a shot." T-Dog told the two. "Maybe they found Randall." Lori said. Daryl shook his head. "We found him." "Is he back in the shed?" Maggie asked. "He's a walker," Daryl informed the group. "Did you find the walker that bit him?" Hershel asked.

"No, the weird thing is he wasn't bit." Glenn said making Rebecca confused. "So he fought back." Patricia said. "The thing is, Shane and Randall's tracks were right on top of each other. And Shane ain't no tracker, so he didn't come up behind him. They were together." Daryl explained.

"Would you please get back out there, find Rick and Shane and find out what on earth is going on?" Lori asked Daryl. He nodded. "You got it." he said before leaving the farmhouse once again. "I'm coming with you," Rebecca said as she grabbed her crossbow and followed after him. The two walked out onto the porch but what they saw in the distance made them freeze.

"Oh shit," she exclaimed making Glenn heard her as he ran out of the house, worried that she was hurt. Andrea followed after him and the two came upon Rebecca and Daryl and froze as well as they saw a herd of walkers on the farmland.

The group had joined the four out on the porch and started fearing for their safety as they saw just how big the herd of walkers was.

"Patricia, kill the lights," Hershel ordered her. "I'll get the guns." Andrea said as she and Patricia ran back into the house. "Maybe they're just passing like the herd on the highway. Should we go inside?" Glenn asked. "Not unless there's a tunnel downstairs I don't know about," Daryl retorts. "A herd that size would rip the house down."

"Carl's gone!" Lori said frantically making Rebecca whip her head so fast at her, that she could have sworn she's gotten whiplash. "What do you mean he's gone?" she asked her. "He-he was upstairs. I can't find him anymore." Lori said clutching her chest with her hands. "Maybe he's hiding." Glenn said. "He's supposed to be upstairs. I'm not leaving without my boy."

"We're not. We're gonna look again. We're gonna find him," Carol assured her as the two ran back inside while Andrea came back outside with a bag of guns. Maggie and Andrea began handing out a weapon to everyone. Maggie gave one to Glenn, who was staring back at her with a surprised expression.

"You grow up country, you pick up a thing or two." Maggie tells Glenn before handing Rebecca a pistol. "I got the number-it's no use." Daryl states, looking out at the large herd of walkers making their way onto the farm.

"You can go if you want." Rebecca turns her head to see that it was Hershel who had said that as he loaded his shotgun with ammo. "You gonna take 'em all on?" Daryl asked him. "We have guns. We have cars." Hershel said cocking his shotgun making Rebecca nod in agreement.

"Kill as many as we can, and we'll use the cars to lead the rest of them off the farm." Rebecca said making Daryl stare at the two. "Are you serious?"

"This is my farm. I'll die here." he concludes before walking down the steps. "All right. It's as good a night as any." Daryl said jumping over the banister and landing on the grass. Rebecca hopped over the banister and landed next to Daryl.
