~Day 64~

It was now morning, as Glenn wondered around the hall, looking for Rebecca. He knocked on Daryl's door but didn't hear a reply. He opened the door and quietly peeked in.

He glanced over at the cot where Daryl was sleeping. He spotted Rebecca on the couch and breathed out a sigh of relief.

Rebecca slept on the cushions from the couch, so that her silhouette was raised above his. Her arm curved to the floor, her fingers inches from Daryl's.

Glenn wondered whether they had fallen asleep holding hands

Glenn wondered whether they had fallen asleep holding hands. He smiled at the sight before closing the door.

Daryl woke up as he heard a noise and looked around the room. He gazed over at Rebecca and down at their hands. He noticed how closed their fingers were so he yanked them back. He got up and shook Rebecca awake.

"Leave me be or I'll shoot you with my crossbow," Rebecca muttered as she snuggled deeper into her pillow. Daryl grunted as he looked over to the dresser where he spotted a bottle of Aspirin.

He grabbed the bottle and took out a pill. He also grabbed a glass of water and walked over to Rebecca. He shook her awake once again and she reluctantly sat up on the couch. She rubbed her eyes and felt her head pound.

She opened her eyes and saw a hand that held an Aspirin and a glass of water. She looked up and saw Daryl. "Take it," he muttered as she took the pill and swallowed it. She took the glass and gulped the whole thing. "Thank you." "Whatever," he muttered as he left the room. Rebecca sighed and carefully stood up, regaining her balance.

She walked out of the room and down the hallway. She walked to the table where the others are having breakfast. She sat down in an empty seat.

"Hello," Glenn tiredly greeted as he sat down next to Rebecca.

"Morning," Rick said as he walked in. "Are you hungover? Mom said you'd be," Carl asked his dad. "Mom is right." "Mom has that annoying habit," Lori said.

"Eggs. Powdered, but, I do 'em good," T-Dog said as Glenn let out a moan while Rebecca laid her head on his shoulder. "I bet you can't tell," T-Dog continued. Dale laughed at Glenn and Rebecca's misery and T-Dog's teasing. Jacqui rubs Glenn and Rebecca's shoulders. T-Dog dishes out the eggs to all, including Glenn and Rebecca.

"Protein helps the hangover," T-Dog said as Glenn moaned again. Rick held up a bottle of aspirin. "Where'd all this come from?" He asked. "I was wondering the same myself," Rebecca asked, remembering a few minutes ago when Daryl had given her one.

"Jenner," Lori responded. "Could you help me, please?" Rick asked his wife as she opened the bottle for him, "He thought we could use it." "Thank you." "Some of us, at least."

Rebecca was now comforting Glenn who had his head down, miserable. "Don't ever, ever, ever, let me drink again," Glenn moaned.

"Hey," Shane said as he walked in. "Hey. Feel as bad as I do?" Rick asked him. Shane walked to the table where the coffee pot and cups were. "Worse."
