~Day 66~
After narrowly escaping from the C.D.C. Rick and the rest of the group decide to leave Atlanta for good. The city is firmly in the hands of the walkers, and they decide to give Shane's idea of finding refuge at the army base at Fort Benning a try.
As the group prepares for their journey, they abandons some of their vehicles in their convoy, bringing just the RV, Carol's Cherokee and Daryl's motorcycle which belonged to his brother, Merle.
Daryl hands Rebecca his crossbow as she slung his onto her back, along with her crossbow. Daryl gets onto his motorcycle as Rebecca climbs on behind him. She snaked her arms around his waist and held onto him tightly as Daryl revved up his motorcycle and followed after the group.

As the group was on the road, Daryl and Rebecca on the motorcycle passed the Cherokee and the RV. Rebecca grinned and waved at Glenn who was in the RV.
Glenn chuckled at his best friend's actions and waved back. Rebecca let out a shriek as Daryl sped faster and she wrapped her arms around him again. A faint smile tugged on Daryl's face when he heard her shriek. He glanced behind him and saw a smile on her face. He turned his head back to the road as they continued onto their destination.

"Uh-oh," Rebecca mumbled as her eyes trailed over what was ahead of them.
"What?" Daryl asked.
"Look ahead."
Daryl's eyes looked up a little bit higher and he saw what she had meant.
They had just come upon a traffic problem with hundreds of abandoned vehicles, filled with rotting corpses, blocking the road. On his brother's motorcycle, Daryl and Rebecca lead them through a snaked out path that was likely carved through by other survivors.
Rebecca turned her head around and saw that the RV had stopped. "We have to turn around," she told Daryl as he nodded. He turned the motorcycle around and drove back to the RV. They stopped by the driver's side as Dale stuck his head out.
"See a way through?" He asked as Daryl looked back and nodded his head. Daryl revved up the motorcycle again as he spun around the RV and drove in front again as the RV followed after Daryl and Rebecca.
The group nervously crawls through the wreckage, with no way to know what sort of dangers lurk within. The situation worsens when the RV's radiator hose breaks down again. This force the group to stop altogether, their cars trapped.
Everyone got out of their vehicles as they all stood by the RV.
"I said it. Didn't I say it? A thousand times. Dead in the water." "Problem, Dale?" asked Shane. "Just a small matter of being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no hope of-" Dale stopped as he glanced around them, "Okay that was dumb," he said as he looked around the empty cars once again.
Daryl reached into the back of an empty car and starts scavenging.
"If you can't find a radiator hose here-" Shane points out and the group realizes that they can scavenge the vehicles along the highway for supplies. "There's a whole bunch of stuff we can find," said Daryl.
"I can siphon more fuel from these cars for a start," said T-Dog. "Maybe some water?" Carol pointed out. "Or food," Rebecca said. "This is a graveyard," Lori pointed out as the group looked at her. "I don't know how I feel about this," she continued.
"All right, here we go. Come on, y'all. Just look around, gather what you can," said T-Dog as the group split up.
"Daryl," Rebecca stopped him. He turned around. She takes Daryl's crossbow off her back and handed it over to him. "Thanks," he muttered as they went their separate ways to scavenge some supplies.
