~Day 71~

The next morning, the sun rises as its rays seeks its way into Rebecca's tent, waking her up. Rebecca opens her eyes and glances around her tent for Glenn but sees that his cot his empty.

Shrugging it off, Rebecca starts getting dressed for the day. As she puts her shoes on, she stops and thinks back to yesterday.

"So...what does this mean for us?" Rebecca asked as she played with her fingers, nervous to hear Daryl's answer. Daryl closed his book and sat up on his cot.

"What do you think?"

Rebecca shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know...maybe we should be together. This being 'just friends' stuff is annoying." Daryl grunted. "It is annoying," he admitted making Rebecca laugh quietly.

"We're together," he spoke.

Rebecca smiled softly. "We're together."

Rebecca smiled as the memory replayed through her mind. She and Daryl were now together. She didn't care about the fact that he wanted to keep their relationship a secret. She was actually relieved because their main priority was to find Sophia.

Leaving her tent, Rebecca made her way over to the main area of their camp which was their eating area. She passed by the Grimes family who were eating their breakfast. She ruffled Carl's hair, making him look up from his breakfast and sending Rebecca a grin.

She smiled back before making her way over to an empty set of lawn chairs. She sat down and waved over at Carol who waved back. "Would you like some eggs, Rebecca?" she asked her. Rebecca nodded her head as Carol got to work on making some more eggs for the group. T-Dog handed Rebecca a plate and she thanked him before he walked away.

Moments later, Rebecca felt someone sit down in the empty lawn chair next to her. She looked to her right and saw Daryl. The two softly smile at each other as Carol made her way over to the pair, carrying a pan of scrambled eggs.

Daryl held out his plate as Carol scraped some eggs onto his plate and did the same to Rebecca's plate.

Glenn glanced over at the farmhouse, where Maggie stood, staring back at him. She shook her head, before walking back into the farmhouse. Glenn sighed as he placed his empty plate on the ground and stood up in front of the group, a nervous look on his face.

"Um, guys," Glenn spoke up, earning everyone's attention as they kept on eating their breakfast, waiting for Glenn to continue speaking. Glenn rubs his hands together in a nervous manner, his eyes finding Rebecca's who starred back up at him, silently pleading him not to spill Maggie's secret to the group.

"So, the barn is full of walkers."

At Glenn's shocking revelation, the entire group had stopped eating their breakfast and stared at Glenn as they couldn't believe what had just come out of his mouth.

"You got to be shitting me," Shane muttered before strutting over to the barn, taking the lead as the group immediately follows after him to investigate the barn.

The entire group were located outside the barn that was currently filled with walkers. Shane slowly crept up to the barn doors, to take a look through the small cracks to see the walkers.

Soon enough, a walker appeared right in front of him, making him back away from the barn doors. Shane turned around to stare at Rick with hatred. "You cannot tell me you're all right with this," he says to Rick as he roughly pushed his shoulder as he walked past him.
