~Day 69~
The sun was shining down on the farmland as Rick made his way over to Andrea, T-Dog and Shane. "Morning, guys," he greeted the three. "Let's get going. We've got a lot of ground to cover," he said to Andrea and T-Dog before walking off to meet Daryl.
Shane immediately followed after Rick as so did Andrea and T-Dog. The four met up with Daryl who was waiting for the group at a car. The group greeted Daryl, who just grunted in reply to them. Daryl had laid out the map on top of the car once again to prepare for the search.
"All right, everyone's getting new search grids today," Rick announced. "If she made it as far as the farmhouse Daryl and Becca found, she might have gone further east than we've been so far."
"I'd like to help," a voice spoke up. The group turned their heads to see Jimmy, Beth's boyfriend. "I know the area pretty well and stuff," he explained. Rick pondered the thought over his head before looking back over at Jimmy. "Hershel's okay with this?" Rick asked, unsure. Jimmy nodded. "Yeah, yeah. He said I should ask you." Rick nodded. "All right then. Thanks."
"Nothing about what Daryl and Rebecca found screams Sophia to me," Shane voiced his opinion. "Anyone could have been holed up in that farmhouse." "Anybody includes her, right?" Andrea said.
"Whoever slept in that cupboard was no bigger than yay-high," Daryl said as he demonstrated the height by placing his hand near his waist.
"It was a good lead," Andrea admitted. "Maybe we'll pick up her trail again," said Rick. Daryl shook his head. "No maybe about it. I'm gonna borrow a horse, head up to this ridge right here with Becca," Daryl pointed at the map. "Take a bird's eye view of the whole grid. If she's up there, we'll spot her."
T-Dog snorted. "Good idea. Maybe you'll see your Chupacabra up there, too." Confused, Rick looked at the faces of his group. "Chupacabra?"
"You never heard this?" Dale asked making his way over to the group. Shaking his head, he began to explain to Rick. "Our first night in camp, Daryl tells us that the whole thing reminds him of a time when he went squirrel hunting and saw a Chupacabra." Jimmy snorted but stopped when he saw the look on Daryl's face.
"What are you braying at, jackass?" Daryl angrily asked Jimmy. "So you believe in a blood-sucking dog?" "Do you believe dead people walking around?" Daryl snapped back.
Jimmy was quiet as he reached for a shotgun but Rick stopped him. "Hey, hey. Ever fire one before?" Jimmy shook his head. "Well, if I'm going out, I want one."
"Yeah, and people in hell want Slurpees," Daryl shot back before walking off to find Rebecca.

Daryl made his way over to Rebecca's tent.
"Becca?"
No reply.
Daryl unzipped the flap of the tent and looked in. He saw that Rebecca was still sleeping as he quietly stepped in. He knelt down next to her and gently shook her awake.
Rebecca groaned and tugged her covers up higher; hoping that whoever was trying to wake her up would stop. Unfortunately the person didn't and continued to gently shake her awake.
Rebecca let out a scowl as she felt her covers being pulled down. She opened her eyes and saw Daryl right beside her cot. She watched his eyes furrowed as she glared at him. "What?" she snapped as Daryl didn't even flinch at the tone of her voice. "We got new search grids," he replied. "You up for going with me?"
Rebecca let out a sigh. She wanted to go with Daryl but on the other hand, Mother Nature was currently punishing her at the moment.
Rebecca immediately clutched her stomach and let out a groan when she felt a jolt of pain shot through. Daryl eyed her. "You fine?" He asked as Rebecca glared at him yet again. "Who me? Oh yes I'm fine. It's just my uterus feeling like it's being wrung out like a dish rag is all."
