~Day 309~

Over the past few days, Rebecca has kept herself busy by checking up on Hershel and Lori. Hershel was recovering well and everyday Rebecca would go into his cell and change his bandages as for Lori, Rebecca made her as comfortable as she could get since she was still overdue.

Right now, Rebecca was helping with moving the cars into the field along with Daryl, Rick, T-Dog and Carol. Rebecca stood next to the trail, motioning for Carol to continue driving through the field.

"Okay, let's get the other car in." Rick calls out and Carol switches the engine off and gets out of the vehicle, before walking over to the rest of them. "We'll park 'em in the west entry of the yard." Rick explains to them.

"Good. Our vehicles camped out there look like giant vacancy signs," Daryl says clearly in agreement with the plan. "After that, we need to load up these corpses so we can burn 'em." Rick tells them, indicating towards the dead bodies. T-Dog lets out a sigh. "Gonna be a long day," he mutters.

"Where's Glenn and Maggie? We could use some help." Carol states and Rebecca agrees. Daryl points to the guard tower. "Up in the guard tower." "The guard tower?" Rick questions before his eyes flickers over to the guard tower. "They were just up there last night."

"Glenn! Maggie!" Daryl shouts out, his voice echoing through the air and within seconds, the door to the guard tower opened and Rebecca couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the sight of Glenn. He was shirtless and was buttoning his pants. It was pretty clear to everyone what the two were just doing.

Glenn stared down at the group smiling back at them. "Hey, what's up, guys?" He calls back to them, his eyes squinting because of the bright sun.

"You coming?" Daryl asks, earning a very confused look from Glenn as Rebecca's smile only grew as a chorus of laughter erupts from the small group around her. "What?" Glenn asks. "You comin'?" Daryl asks again as Rebecca lets out a laugh. "Come on, we could use a hand." "Yeah. We'll be down in a second." Glenn calls down to them as Rebecca shakes her head, her smile never leaving her face.

Daryl and Rebecca turn around and walk off with Rick. Rebecca lightly nudges her arm against Daryl's making him look down at her and give her a small smile.

"Hey, Rick." T-Dog calls out, making the small group stop walking as they turn around. They all look over to where T-Dog was looking to see two men dressed in blue prison jumpsuits. Rebecca didn't recognize them but Rick sure did as he stormed over to the men, the group following after him.

"That's close enough." Rick calls out to them. Axel and Oscar come to a steady halt. "We had an agreement." Rick states as he stared between the two men standing in front of him.

"Please, mister. We know that. We made a deal. But you gotta understand we can't live in that place another minute. You follow me?" he questions as Glenn and Maggie appears behind the group. "All the bodies, people we knew. Blood, brains everywhere. They're ghosts."

Daryl shakes his head as he stood behind Rick. "Why don't you move the bodies out?" he asks them. "You should be burning them." T-Dog adds. "We tried. We did." "The fence is down on the far side of the prison. Every time we drag a body out, those things just line up. Dropping the body and just running back inside." Oscar explains to all of them.

"Look, we had nothing to do with Thomas and Andrew. Nothing. You trying to prove a point? You proved it, bro. We'll do whatever it takes to be a part of your group. Please, don't make us live in that place, please." Axel pleads with Rick. "Our deal is not negotiable. You either live in your cellblock, or you leave."

"I told you this was a waste of time," Oscar says to Axel before turning to Rick. "They ain't no different than the pricks who shot up our boys. You know how many friends' corpses we had to drag out this week? Just threw 'em out, like. These were good guys. Good guys who had our backs against the really bad dudes in the joint, like Thomas and Andrew. We've all made mistakes to get in here, chief and I'm not gonna pretend to be a saint, but believe me...we paid our due-enough that we would rather hit that road than to go back into that shithole."
