"so you lot was in the garden smoking and then bullets came flying at you?" questioned Reece
nodding my head yes I looked at him before glancing at Aasha. Taking a pull of the zoot she ashed it before swinging it to me. Standing up she walked towards him and stood still when she was directly in front of him. Holding out her hand he looked down at it before taking whatever it was.
Holding it up in front of him so he could get a better view at it, I saw it was the bullets that was laying on the ground next to us. Now I know Aasha said she aint never had to live a life like this but I'm starting to believe she was gang banger in her past life because how did she even know to do that.
"these are Full Metal Jacket bullets" mumbled Reece looking up at us he starred Aasha dead in her eyes "they wanted you two dead" he said before quickly glancing at me.
"how can you say that from just looking at a bullet?" I asked completely baffled.
"Full Metal Jacket bullets have very good long range performance and are good for travelling long distances. They can pass through multiple obstructions without losing energy. They can pass through the attacker or victim and still be able to potentially injure a bystander. you lot said you was in the garden when this happened, meaning they was shooting from the front of your house and Aasha was still able to give me whatever bullets she could find. They shot through your front door, front room, walls etc and the bullets still managed to reach your garden. they wanted you dead" he explained
just hearing that sent chills down my spine and I know it done the same for Aasha because she scooted closer to me and I could feel the goose bumps on her arms.
"so what now" croaked out Aasha barely above a whisper
"I gotta send you two away"
"AWAY! what do you mean away, I got a life you know" I said
"and you almost lost it a hour ago" he blandly replied averting his eyes from me he looked at Aasha "I'm taking you two to stay with my mum" he said
frowning my face I was perplexed especially because I know that Aasha has never heard Reece mention his mum, as far as she was concerned his mum wasn't around so I know we was both as equally baffled.
"where's that" asked Aasha
"Walsall"
"where the fuck is that?" I asked confused as fuck
"on the outskirts of Birmingham" mumbled Aasha whilst looking up at me, releasing a breath she sat back in the chair before kissing her teeth
