JENNIE'S POV

I came to a halt in a coffee shop. I didn't drive because it was raining heavily, the road was slick, and I deemed it too unsafe for me to drive. A Cinnamon Cappuccino and a Chocolate Croissant were on my menu. While I was waiting, I spotted a man who had just entered the coffee shop, his hair was wet, and he appeared to be running in the rain because he was still gasping when he sat down. I recognized his face, but I couldn't remember where I saw him. He sensed someone was staring at him, so he turned to face me, and I immediately averted my gaze.

I ignored him until my order arrived, and while I sipped my steaming coffee, the man I had been staring at earlier, approached me.

"You're Jennie, am I right?" He asked me.

I looked up at him as he stood, I even looked around to make sure that I was really the one he was talking to.

He chuckle. "I guess I'm right, You are Jennie, the famous Jennie Kim" The man smiled as he spoke.

"Excuse me, do I know you? Your face is familiar to me but I can't remember where I saw you" I told him.

He placed his coffee on my table and sat across from me.

"It's me Bambam" He messed up his hair and my eyes widened when I recognized him.

"Bambam the rapper!" I said and he nodded.

He was our batch mate in college, the reason why I didn't recognized him now because his hair was in order while back then he does not combed because for him he was a rock star. He had a crush on Lisa and he also tried to court her a several times but he was always rejected.

"How are you?" He inquired of me.

"I'm good, a bit stressed but that's to be expected" I answered and smiled at him.

"You don’t look stressed, you’re still beautiful so far, Lisa obviously takes good care of you" He said jokingly. "Speaking of Lisa how is she, is she ok now? I heard what happened to her father, I feel sad for her" Bambam's expression changed when he mentioned about Lisa's father.

My brow furrowed. "What happened to her father?" I asked in astonishment.

Bambam seemed surprised on why I didn't know about that, so before he could answer I spoke again.

"We broke up two years ago so I didn't know what happened" I explained to him.

"What!?" His eyes widened. "I went home to Thailand last year and I heard that she was getting married, I thought—"

He did not continue what he was going to say.

"Okay, I get it. About Lisa's father, he died two months after Lisa returned to Thailand" That's what my family said.

I don't know how I will react to what Bambam said, Lisa loves her father so much that she put aside her dream of becoming a photographer.

"When Uncle Marco died, their company went bankrupt but only a few months later it came back up again and until now their company is number one in Thailand" He added.

He sipped his coffee before speaking again. "She also accepted the offer as a photographer by a large company in Thailand, right?"

I remember the information that Kai gave me when Lisa came here to Korea. "Yeah, I heard something about that" I answered.

"I thought Lisa wouldn't accept it, she mentioned it to me before. I think four years ago when we met here in Seoul and we talked about that"

I was just listening to Bambam’s story.
