CHAPTER 55 (FORGIVE ME)

JISOO'S POV

Seulgi talked to me and she told me what she found out about Chaeng and Lisa, at first I didn't care what she was saying but when I heard that Chaeng wanted us to have a baby it was as if cold water was poured on me. I feel like I was deafened by that moment, I want to make sure about it, and talk to her but how?

When I filed for divorce I knew I had finished everything about us, but I didn't expect her to sign the divorce paper that easily. I was hurt even though I felt I had no right to be hurt, and because of what I found out I wanted to talk to her, but I didn't know how. This time I was ready to listen to her and hoping it wasn't too late.

Over the past few months I've always followed her, I know where she is going and I also know that they are often together with Lisa. Whenever I see the two of them with Luan I can't help but get hurt, they are like a family. I suddenly thought; what if I listened to her before, maybe we have a little angel now.

I went to their house, she went back to her parents when we separated, and now I am in front of their house but I don't get out of my car because I don't know how to deal with her.

How can I talk to her?

I was about to get out of the car when their gate opened and her car came out, she didn't seem to notice me so I followed her thinking she was going to Lisa again. A few minutes passed, and I was right because we are now in front of the Manobans' mansion. She entered her car at the gate and I stopped in front, I got out of the car and talked to the guard, because he knew me he allowed me to enter.

Luan who's playing in the garden immediately saw me, his eyes widened and smile as he ran towards me. "Mama Chu!" He jumped when he hugged me.

"How are you baby?" I asked him while smiling.

"I'm good, I missed you Mama Chu" He answered enthusiastically. "How's Mommy Princess?" I lost my smile because of his question, Jennie and Kai will be married in a few days and Im the reason. I was so angry that I told Jennie that Kai was her fiancé so that she and Lisa would never go back to each other. "I understand, Mama Chu" Luan said since I didn't answer.

I forced a smile and ruffled his hair, "How's your Dada?" I asked and I noticed he was suddenly sad.

"Dada is-"

"What are you doing here?" Luan didn't finish what he was going to say when someone spoke behind us.

I turned around, "Chaeng" she was staring blankly at me.

"Jisoo unnie, is that you?" Lisa approached us with Somi.

"Lisa?" I looked at her in astonishment.

"Chaeng" I turned to Chaeyoung again, "What's the mea-"

"Leave" I swallowed when Chaeyoung said that coldly.

"Chaeng, I just want to talk to you and-"

"I said leave"

"Babe please, let's talk" I approached her but she stepped back.

"Chaeng talk to her, Luan let's go inside" They left, and Chaeyoung and I were left alone.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"I'm ready to listen" I replied.

She chuckled, "You're kidding right?"

I shook my head, "Is it true that you want us to have a baby?" I asked her, the smirk disappeared from her lips.

"You don't have to know" She replied.

"I have to"

"For what?" She asked angrily, I couldn't answer because I also don't know why I wanted to know. "We're separated Chu, nothing will change even if I tell you" she added.

I lowered my head, I felt the pain in my chest when I heard that.

Why do I think that there is still a chance.

"I want to fix everything about us" I said while looking straight at her.

"After what you've done you're going to say now that you want to fix everything, are you insane?" She asked, irritated.

"I was just mad"

"Mad? Do you hear what you're saying? It's not just our relationship that's broken, but also Lisa's relationship with your sister, do you think you can bring it back?"

"What do you want my reaction to be after I see your pictures? Do you want me to be happy? Chaeng you cheated on me!"

"Until now you still believe I cheated on you?" Tears streamed down her cheeks, "Lisa and I don't have a relationship, did you see her condition now, my friend needs me, Chu!" She shouted, "Do you know how hard it is for her to tell Jennie that she will be blind? Those pictures, I will not deny it to you, believe it or not but every day I force her to tell Jennie. I didn't want to lie to you but I guess if I hadn't lied I wouldn't have known you don't trust me" She wiped away her tears, I approached and hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry" I said while sobbing, I couldn't even hold back my tears as I was repeatedly stabbed in the chest when I heard the last thing she said. "Forgive me if I didn't listen to you, please give me another chance I'll fix it" She removed my hug from her.

She shook her head, "You're too late for that" she said.

I took her hand and knelt in front of her, "Please babe let me fix this" I never cried in front of her, just now.

"Don't do this, Chu" she pulled my hand to make me stand up.

"Has anyone replaced me?" I looked into her eyes.

She wiped my tears and was about to speak when suddenly her phone rang, "Hello, yes we're going there, wait for us" She stopped and looked at me first before speaking again, "Love you"

I was stunned. Am I really too late?

"Go home, we're leaving" she said to me and walked away.

"Chaeng" I called her.

"That's my cousin" I smiled at what I heard, I felt crazy, before I cried, now I'm smiling. "Let me give myself time, Chu" She said.

"I will wait for you!" I shouted before she went inside.

As usual, Jennie woke up early she ran out of the mansion to pick up the letter that was in the mail box, but when she opened it she was surprised because there was no letter inside. She felt sad, but she thought that the messenger might have just missed the delivery so she waited a few more minutes.

She saw the man who delivering the letter and called to him, "Sir!" The man immediately turned and approached her, "Is there a letter for me?" she asked, she was now sure that the letters were for her because the last letter she read had her name on it.

"No ma'am, I'm also wondering why there isn't, but maybe tomorrow there will be" The man replied to her.

"Okay sir, thank you" The man left and she sadly entered the mansion.

What if that's the last letter?
