CHAPTER 32 (BLACK VAN)

LISA'S POV

We decided not to inform Jennie about the incident the night before. The surveillance camera witnessed a man from the black van throw it. We don't know how they got into this place since the security is strict. Mr. Kim attempted to determine who owned the van but it was not registered.

That incident has never left my mind, and I'm still puzzled as to who could have done it. I didn't ask Jennie since I was afraid she'd be suspicious.

"You appear to be overthinking, Ms. Manoban" I was taken aback when Somi spoke. I had completely forgotten that she was standing right in front of me.

"I'm sorry, but what exactly are you saying?" I inquired her.

"I've already found a business unit, we can visit it later for you to see" She responded.

"Really? Somi, thank you very much. I didn't make a mistake by asking for your assistance" Because of her good news, my smile widened even more. I can finally start my studio.

"What are your plans for the unit, Ms. Manoban?" Somi had enquired of me.

"I'm going to start managing my own studio, now that my contract with this company is coming to an end" I respond to her.

"So if you leave here, I'll lose my job as well?" She inquired, sadly.

"Of course not, once my studio is in order, I can engage you as my secretary" When I told her that, I could see her eyes light up with delight.

"Thank you, Ms. Manoban. I can't afford to lose my job right now because I'm in desperate need of money"

"Don't worry, I'll look after you"

I had just finished the photoshoot when I met Joy, so I asked her.

"Where is Jennie, Joy? Why isn't she watched the photo shoot?"

"Ms. Manoban, she was at her office, and she is really busy right now" She responded.

I bobbed my head slowly before noticing the flowers she was carrying. "Nice flowers, Joy, I didn't know you had a boyfriend" When I stated that, she lowered her head.

"This is not mine, Ms. Manoban. Ms. Kim, informed me to throw it in the trash" Her response made me frown.

"Is that for Jennie? Who is that from?" I asked.

"It must be from Mr. Jong-in, he is the only one who always gives flowers to Ms. Kim" Joy said while looking at the flowers.

That's beautiful, it's just that it's not Jennie's favorite flower. Poor Kai, tss. 

"Go ahead, Joy. I'll just go to her office" She bowed to me before leaving.

I took my phone out of my pocket because I needed to call someone.

JENNIE'S POV

I’m too busy right now so I don’t have time to watch a photoshoot, I haven’t seen Lisa since before because I don’t go out of the office.

"Hi love" With my excessive focus on paper works, I didn’t even realize Lisa had entered my office.

"Love, you startled me" She laughed at what I said. I noticed she seemed to be hiding something in the back because her hands were on her back. "What's that, Love?" I asked with a frown.

She approached me and pulled out the thing she had been hiding behind her. My eyes widened because of the flower she was holding. It's a Hyacinth flower.
