JENNIE'S POV

Kai invited me on vacation, he said we need to have time with each other before we get married, and I went along but I didn't really get what he was aiming for. He took me to an island far from Seoul and let me walk alone by the sea shore.

Didn't he say he wanted us to have time with each other?

He left me in our room and now I can no longer see him. Lately I have noticed something strange in his behavior but when I ask him he does not say what his problem is.

While walking I noticed a woman holding a camera sitting by the sea shore while watching the sunset, I don't know why but I approached her.

"What's the use of your camera if you didn't take pictures of the beautiful sunset?" I asked when I could get close to her.

"Sometimes it's better to just stare at the beautiful scenery you see, than to take a picture of it" She replied without looking at me.

I sat down next to her, "How about the memories? I mean you probably won't see it again so don't waste the chance to take a picture of it, so you can see it again"

I heard her chuckled, "Good memories stay in our minds, if you don't remember then means it doesn't matter to you" She replied. "What's the use of me taking a picture, if it gets to the point where I won't see it anymore" She added.

I didn't understand what she was going to say so I didn't speak, but she's right the good memories remain in our minds, maybe what happened to me wasn't good so I don't remember even one.

"Are you a photographer?" I asked her again.

"Yes" She nodded.

I cleared my throat before speaking again, "Can I see the pictures on your camera? Don't get me wrong, I'm getting married soon and I thought if I could take you as a photographer" She turned to me, but I was surprised when I noticed the sadness in her eyes.

Is it normal or she's really sad?

She handed me her camera and turned her attention back to the vast sea.

I looked at the pictures on her camera, and I can say she is really good at taking pictures. When I was done I returned it to her.

"You're really good at photography, so can you be a photographer at my wedding?" I asked her.

"I'll try" was her short answer, she stood up and adjusted her clothes. "I have to go, nice meeting you" She said smiling but that smile didn't reach her eyes.

She was walking away from me when I called her, "Hey!" She stopped and turned to me, I approached and handed her my calling card.

"Call me"

"Okay, thanks" She walked away again.

"Ahh miss!" I called her and she turned around again.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Lisa" She answered and left.

I don't know why I felt like there was a pain in my chest when I heard her name, I wanted to chase and hug her. It hurt me to see her walk away until I felt my tears dripping for no apparent reason.

DAY 348

Hi Love,

I saw you yesterday, you're still so beautiful my love, I wanted to hug you but I couldn't, you are so close to me but why do you seem so far away? I want to stare at you, but I don't want you to see the tears in my eyes, I'm glad I had the chance to see you again and now I'm ready for whatever might happen in the next few days. If the thing I dreaded ever comes, I will accept it because your smile is one of those memories that I will probably never see again. My love, always remember that I love you so much, and I am happy for you. I love you, Jennie.

When I read the letter my head suddenly ached, I repeatedly heard the last words in the letter.

I love you, Jennie.

I love you, Jennie.

I love you, Jennie.

The voice I hear is familiar to me.

Who are you?

"Ahhhh!" I screamed in pain, and suddenly the door opened and Kai entered.

"Jennie" He immediately ran closer to me when he saw my situation, he handed me a glass of water and medicine. After I drank it, he immediately hugged me, "I'm here, Jennie" I cried on his chest.

When I calmed down I let go of his hug, "Kai" he looked at me when he heard me. "Can you tell me you love me?"

He looked straight into my eyes and cupped my cheek, "I love you, Jennie" he said, and kissed my forehead.

That's not him.

"Dada wake up, Auntie Somi cooked breakfast" Luan sat on Lisa's back as he woke Lisa up.

"Give Dada five minutes more, baby" She replied.

"I will be late at school, Dada"

Lisa oppened her eyes, "Thanks God" she whispered. "Wait for me in the dining area" Luan kissed Lisa's cheek before getting off the bed.

"Hurry up, Dada" He said before leaving the room.

Lisa shook her head, and suddenly turn her gazed at the table beside her bed. She looked at the calling card on the top of it.

17 days left, My love.

She got up and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower.

While they were eating Lisa's vision suddenly blurred, she closed her eyes a few times but her vision still did not return to normal.

"Lisa, are you okay?" Somi asked her. She looked at Somi, she couldn't see it clearly but she still managed to smile,

"Yeah" She replied, a few moments later her vision returned to normal. "Somi, can you drive?" She asked.

"Yes I can, why?" Somi asked with a frown.

"Drive Luan at school, and join me in our new house" She replied.

Somi just nodded even though she couldn't understand why Lisa was let her drive.
