LISA'S POV

I woke up with Jennie no longer beside me. What happened last night is unforgettable, we made love. I know it wasn’t the first time but why do I feel like everything is new to me. With each passing day, I loved Jennie even more and I was afraid that one day she might just suddenly disappear from me. I will never let another few years go by without us being together. Jennie, she's the woman I've dreamed of marrying from the beginning. I made a lot of mistakes, I left her and got tired of our relationship but I regret everything and I thank Jennie because she didn’t get tired of waiting. She did not give up on me.

I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to do my daily routine. After that, I exited the room and saw Chaeyoung just came out of their room.

"Good morning, Lis" She greeted me warmly. Her smile is better now than when Jisoo unnie was still in the hospital. She doesn't sleep much that time, and I'm relieved that she looks okay.

"Good morning Chaeng, you look pretty awake huh?" I told her jokingly. We went down the stairs together and her smile remained on her face the entire time.

"I'm simply glad that Chu is doing well now." She answered.

We met Mr. Kim in the living room, where he was having coffee and reading the newspaper, when we got down.

"Good morning girls" He said without glancing at us.

"Good morning, Dad," Chaeng and I both said simultaneously. I'm still not used to calling him Dad, perhaps since Jennie and I aren't married yet, but I can't help myself because he insists on calling him that. He is sweet, and I admire his love to his daughters. I suddenly realized how much I missed my father.

"Lisa, sit down, we have something to talk about," Chaeyoung and I exchanged glances. His tone of voice made me a little nervous because it sounded like we were going to have a serious conversation. Before Chaeyoung left, she grinned at me as I sat across from Mr. Kim.

"I heard that you plan to take Jennie on vacation to Thailand" He started the conversation.

"Yes, Dad, we discussed that the other day," I replied, as a maid approached me and placed the coffee on the table.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but Ma'am Jennie is providing it to you." She said while bowing her head.

I smiled slightly. "Thank you" I answered her and she left.

"When will you leave the country?" He asked.

"Maybe next week Dad, when my contract with the company ends" I answered him and sipped my coffee.

"You don't have to wait for the contract to end, you can go to Thailand this week" I frowned because of what he said, why does he seem to be rushing us to leave?

He seemed to notice the astonishment on my face so he spoke again. "You know the situation here is chaotic, Lisa. I won't let anything bad happen to one of my daughters again"

"I understand Dad" I politely answer him.

He nodded slowly. "I'll let you use the private plane" Our conversation was interrupted when Jennie arrived in the living room.

"Let's have breakfast, I cooked" She said while smiling.

I also smiled when I saw her. My girlfriend is so beautiful. Did I mention that I’m lucky because I have Jennie Kim?

"Love, you're drooling" I cupped the edge of my lip because of what she said and I heard Mr. Kim laugh while looking at us.

"You're head over heels with my princess, Lisa" Mr. Kim said while shaking his head and burst out laughing.

"I won't deny that, Dad. Your princess is so beautiful" I replied while staring at Jennie.

She giggle. "You're silly, come on let's eat" She didn't wait for me to get up and went to the dining area.

"She's happy and that's because of you" Mr. Kim tap my shoulder before following Jennie.

I'm happy too. I’m glad to see her happy.

"How long will you stay in Thailand?" Jisoo unnie asked us while eating.

"Maybe just two weeks" I replied to her.

"How is your company in Thailand, Lisa?" Mr. Kim asked me.

"It's okay Dad. Mom and my friend are running our company right now" Jennie suddenly looked at me. I didn't even mention to her that I entrusted the company to Wendy.

"Who's friend?" She asked.

"Wendy" I answered and this time, Jisoo unnie looked at me.

"Wendy?" She stopped talking and seemed to be thinking. "Isn't she here in Seoul?"

I frowned at what Jisoo unnie said. Wendy never mentioned to me that she was going home here to Seoul. "It's like I saw her at a restaurant three weeks ago when I had a meeting with one of my clients" She added.

They all looked at me as if waiting for my answer. "Maybe she just visited her family" I said and Jisoo unnie, slowly bob her head.

But I'm not convinced by what I said, because if Wendy comes home here in Seoul, I'm sure she'll call me or maybe it wasn't Wendy that Jisoo unnie, saw.

I temporarily cleared my brain of that idea and continued eating.

JENNIE'S POV

Only Dad joined the company, leaving the four of us in the mansion. Jisoo unnie was still unable to work because her arm wound was still healing. We agreed to go swimming because we hadn't been here at the mansion in a long time. If there is a good cause of what is happening, it is that Dad, Jisoo unnie and I are together once again.

I spotted Lucas and Lisa in the pool; Kai had brought him here earlier, but he hadn't shown up to Lisa.

"Bud, teach me how to swim." Lucas remarked cheerfully to Lisa.

As if he were our child, who would have thought that they would be close to each other for a while? I also can't deny that Lisa loves child and if she asks me to have a baby again I will give it to her, because I'm sure she'll be a good Daddy and Mommy to our future baby.

- If I only knew ... I would have made the most of the days with you.
