CHAPTER 57 (NEW HOUSE)

LISA'S POV

"What can you say to my house, Chaeng?" I asked Chaeyoung when we got to my new house.

"It's beautiful and big, Lis" She replied, and I smiled it must be my wedding gift to Jennie, and all the design of this house is from her. We used to plan our future when we were still together, so to this day I still remember the things she wanted.

"Do you think anyone will buy it?" I asked again.

"What?!" Chaeng asked in shock, "Will you sell it?" I nodded.

"We're going back to Thailand, there's no reason for us to stay here anymore" I answered, and I heard her sigh.

"When are you leaving?"

"Our flight is on Sunday, my mom will be here tomorrow to pick us up" I have already talked to my mother and told her that we will be returning to Thailand, I also think it will be good for Luan so that he doesn't have to look for Jennie because I have nothing more to say to him.

How can he accept that his mommy will never come back?

"That was Jennie's wedding day" Chaeng said.

I know.

"She's not coming back, Chaeng. I accept that" I said sadly.

"What if she suddenly remembers?" She asked.

I just chuckled, "When she remembers what happened she will definitely hate me"

"But you didn't do anything wrong, Lisa. You didn't cheat on her," she's convincing me I know she doesn't want me to leave.

"But I hurt her, the mornings she wakes up that I'm not by her side I know I'm hurting her, the days when I don't join in planning our wedding I hurt her, and I don't want to hurt her again especially now I will just be a burden to her" I replied.

"You know Jennie, she'll understand you"

I know, but this time I don't want her to understand me, because the more she understand me the more she's hurting.

"She deserves someone who will love her completely, who will not lie to her, who will not hurt her, who will provide all her needs, who can protect her, who will do everything for her and that's not me, Chaeng" My tears flowed that I had been holding back.

"You already did that to her" Chaeng said softly, and cupped my cheek. "I know you're tired Lisa, if you think this will be good for you and Luan then do it just promise me you'll be happy" She wiped my tears and hugged me.

"I'll try. I will try, Chaeng" I replied.

"Are you sure you will sell this house?" She asked, and I nodded.

"I'll leave the studio to Somi, I know she needs that" I said.

In almost a year that we were together I found out she also loves photography, I noticed she has the potential to be a photographer so on her birthday I gave her a camera as a gift.

I knew she had enough money for the studio so I decided to leave it to her, at first she didn't want to accept it because she said I had helped her too much, but I am the one who is most grateful to her because she didn't leave me and Luan.

SEULGI'S POV

"Dada, Mama Seul and Mama Chu are here!" Luan shouted as he ran inside the house.

We followed him and we saw Chaeng and Lisa inside. Chaeng was looking at us, while Lisa I didn't know where she was looking.

"Where are they, Chaeng?" I heard Lisa ask Chaeyoung, I frowned and looked at Jisoo but she didn't speak.

"They're in front of you" Chaeyoung replied, Lisa faced us but I was surprised because she wasn't looking at us.

"Kang Seulgi, Jisoo unnie" Lisa said smiling.

Jisoo tapped my shoulder because I wasn't speaking, and I was just staring at Lisa.

"Manoban, I don't have time to joke with you why don't you look at me? Are you mad at me?" I asked her.

She just smiled, I turned to Chaeng again and was looking for an answer but she didn't speak. Lisa slowly walked closer to me and I noticed she's holding a white cane.

Is this a prank?

"Manoban you look like a fool stop that" I took her white cane and she stopped from walking.

"Seul" Jisoo called me.

"Look, I came here to say hello to Lisa this is not a funny joke of yours" I scolded them.

"Dada is blind, Mama Seul"
I looked at Luan as he spoke.

"What did you say?" I asked him in shock.

"I lost my vision Seul, we're not pranking you" Lisa said and smiled.

What the Fuck! Am I dreaming?

I felt my tears drip, "W-what happened?" My voice is shaking.

Bullshit! I can't bear to see Lisa like this.

I was about to approach her, but Chaeng approached me.

"Wipe your tears, don't pity her she doesn't want that" She whispered to me then went out with Luan.

I wiped away my tears and returned her white cane. "How can you find a girlfriend if you're blind?" I was joking and I heard her laugh.

"I have no intention of looking for a new girl, Kang Seulgi" She answered me.

"The Lisa Manoban I know is not weak" I approached her and slightly hugged her. "How are you?" I asked while holding back my tears.

"Still pretty handsome" she replied arrogantly.

Jisoo approached us and went to the other side of Lisa. "We'll find you a girlfriend, let's go to the bar" Jisoo said jokingly, and we laughed.

We want to apologize to her, but we don't want to be in a heavy situation right now. We knew that Lisa needed comfort, so we put aside what we wanted to say to her.

"How did you know I was here?" Lisa asked us.

"We asked Somi" Jisoo replied.

"Manoban, you and Somi look good together huh" I tease her.

She smiled and shook her head, "We're just friends" She replied.

"Friends huh? We found out that Somi is sleeping in your mansion." Jisoo said while laughing.

"She sleeps in the guest room."

"Why do you seem dissapointed?" I asked with a grin.

"Yahh! Kang Seulgi stop teasing me!" She scolded me.

"Manoban can't crawl Somi because she's blind" We burst out laughing because of what Jisoo said.

"She's the one coming to my room" Lisa said.

"What?!" Jisoo and I asked in shock.

Lisa laughed out loud, "I'm just kidding" We both just shook our heads, "Jisoo unnie, Seul, I missed you" Jisoo and I looked at each other.

"You're so gay, Manoban" I said, joking because I felt like my tears were dripping again.

"We missed you too, Manoban" Jisoo replied and we hugged each other.

"You stink" Lisa said while laughing.

"You're the one who doesn't take a bath with the three of us" I said jokingly and laughed.

"I'll throw you out of my house, Kang Seulgi"

We stayed a few more hours, Chaeng cooked lunch and Somi also came so Lisa's house was filled with teasing and laughter, she also told us that they were going back to Thailand and we were a little saddened by that news, but I told her we will visit her there. We didn't mention about Jennie's wedding because we knew Lisa would just be sad, I also found out about her and Chaeng, and we did make a mistake judging them, but I admire Lisa because she dealt with all her problems even without Jennie.
