CHAPTER 03 (STARS)

JENNIE'S POV

I left the hotel. I haven't seen Lisa since I left her on the beach. I need to think about what happen earlier, but you're mistaken if you think I went to Hanbin's bonfire party. Lisa would become much more enraged if she found out that's what I did. I'm not sure if she's looking for me, and I'm not sure if she's calling because I forgot to bring my phone.

A few hours after nightfall, I decided to return to the hotel. There are a lot of people having fun outside. We came here to unwind, but all we got was a misunderstanding. I don't want to prolong our argument, so I'll just apologize to her. She reacted in this manner because she was concerned about me.

My ghad, Jennie, you should've just gotten it!

She greeted me right away when I entered into our room.

"Jennie!" I was surprised when she suddenly hugged me and I could not speak right away. "I thought something bad happened to you"

Wait, is she crying?

I let go of her embrace to see her face. "Hey, why are you crying?" I asked her.

She wiped away her tears. "I've been looking for you for a long time, I'm worried about you" She answered, I don’t know how I’ll react, but this is the first time I’ve seen Lisa cry and I’m the reason.

I cupped her cheek. "Please stop crying, I'm sorry if I bothered you" I wiped the tear from her cheek.

"I'm also sorry for saying something I didn't mean to say earlier"

"Let's not think about that okay? We are here to celebrate so we should be happy" She nodded and hugged me. My heart beats fast . I don’t know where it’s coming from, or I just can’t admit the truth.

After we had dinner, we went to the rooftop of the hotel for star gazing. Did I mention that Lisa loves stars? Yes she loves the stars, the night before she go to sleep she first goes to the rooftop of their house to look the stars. Even the ceiling of her room was full of glow in the dark stars. She also knows its names.

"Lili why do you love the stars?" I asked her, her head was now lying on my lap.

"Because they are like you" I frowned at her answer. "Do you still remember when you had your 18th birthday, didn't I tell you that I had something to say after your party?"

I remember that, I looked for her after the party but our friends said she already go home.

"What are you going to say then? I was looking for you after the party but you just went home" I asked.

"I wanted to tell you that ... I like you" She said with a smile, I was surprised but before I could answer, she spoke again. "But that's the same day you introduced Jiyong as your boyfriend to everyone" The smile disappeared from her lips.

"I used to think you were a star, I always see you, but it's hard for you to reach"

After a few minutes, no one said anything to the two of us. I had a lot of questions for her, but I didn't know where to start.

"Is there a chance that you'll like me again?"

Jennie what went through your mind to make you ask that question?!

"Ahh, what I mean is —..." I didn't finish what I was going to say because she suddenly spoke.

"I haven't lost my feelings for you" She got up and sat down next to me. "When I look up at the stars, I love you even more"

Did she confess her feelings?!! 

I just stared at her as she stared at the sky. When she looked at me, our eyes met.

"Why are you crying?" I could see the concern in her eyes, I was crying, I didn't notice it. "Hey sorry Nini, did I surprise you? I'm sorry, it's okay for me if we don't feel the sa—..."

She never finished what she was going to say because I already kissed her.

It felt like electricity was coursing through my entire body. I cupped her cheek and pressed our foreheads together.

"I love you Lisa! I love you! You have no idea how happy I am right now. I've been waiting for so long for you to say that"

She smiled and kissed me. The kiss was passionate and full of love.

That day was the happiest I'd ever experienced in my life.

We saw all of the beautiful spots on Jeju throughout our stay. Every day we were there, we made sure we had a good time. Every day, we get the feeling that we love each other. What a wonderful feeling it is to wake up knowing that the person you love, loves you. She's the first person I see when I open my eyes in the morning and her smile is the last thing I want to see before going to sleep.

Lisa prepared a dinner date on the hotel's rooftop. There were red rose petals on the floor, a red table in the center and someone was playing the violin. Lisa gave me a warm welcome and a kissed on the cheek.

"You're so lovely tonight, Love" She whispered to me.

I was wearing Daisy Tulle Symphony Dress and Black high heels.

She pulled up a chair for me to sit on, and she sat across from me. Later on, a man approached us with food. He set the food down on the table.

"Thank you" Lisa said to the man and he left.

"You prepared all of this?" Lisa smiled and nodded.

"Yes, did you like it?"

I smiled. "I love it, thank you Love"

"Anything for you Love"

Lisa made me happy tonight. I know it wont be the last because as long as I’m with Lisa I’ll be happy, and I won’t waste every minute with her.

When we returned to Seoul, Lisa promptly drove me to her parents' house and introduced me as her girlfriend. Her father, Uncle Marco, was overjoyed that finally Lisa had a girlfriend, and her mother hugged me. She admitted that she had a feeling that Lisa and I would end up together. We stay at their house for a few hours more before Lisa drove me back to ours.

The car stopped in front of our house. I'd like to let Lisa in, but I don't think it's the time to tell Dad about us. Before getting out of the car, I glanced at Lisa, who smiled at me.

"I understand, take your time" She kissed me on my forehead.

"Thank you, i love you"

"I love you too"

She waited for me to enter the house before she left.

Dad's secretary approached me. "Ms. Kim, your father has requested you to come to his office"

I handed my stuff to our maid and went straight to Dad’s office.

"Did you enjoy your vacation?" He asked me as I entered the office.

"Yes Dad" I answered.

"Good, Our staff arranged your office in the company, you can start tomorrow"

- Not all love story has a happy ending.
