LISA'S POV
We've arrived in Thailand and we are currently on our way to the mansion, I'm holding Jennie’s hand while we are inside the car and her head is resting on my shoulder. I know she's nervous now because she's been asking me if it's okay for us to stay at the mansion. Honestly, I was expecting my mother's reaction because I already informed her that Jennie and I would go home.
"I can just stay at the hotel, Love" I heard Jennie say.
"Do you think I'll let you? Haven't we talked about this before, I'll take care of you" I assured her that she had nothing to worry about.
She didn't say anything further, and we arrived at the mansion a few minutes later. As we walked in, Jennie's grasp on my hand tightened. We were greeted by two maids who came to collect our luggage.
"Please just put it in my room," I said, and they nodded and walked away. "Can you tell me where mom is?" I inquired of a maid.
"They're in the kitchen, Ms. Manoban" She replied politely.
I looked at Jennie and smiled, she still wouldn't let go of her tight grip on my hand. I pulled her into the kitchen and as we got closer I heard someone laughing.
"You should come here more often so you can cook for me" I heard my mother say to whoever she was talking to.
"Mom, we're here," I said as we entered the kitchen, but I was taken aback when I saw who was with her.
"Oh hi, baby, you arrived just in time, Suzy just finished cooking" She came over and kissed me on the cheek.
"Good evening, Mrs. Manoban" Jennie respectfully greeted her but she only smiled slightly in response.
"Let's eat," My mother said cheerfully as she approached Suzy. "I'm sure Lisa missed your cooking."
I just sighed and looked at Jennie with my eyes as if I felt sorry to her. She smiled slightly to say it was okay.
Jennie and I followed them into the dining area, I pulled out a chair for Jennie and I sat next to her, while Suzy sat across from me and Mom was next to her.
"You should eat a lot, Lisa," Mom said as she placed food on my plate. "I actually requested Suzy to cook your favorite foods," she added.
When I looked at Suzy, she didn't seem to understand why my mother was acting so strangely. I also put food on Jennie's plate, but I could tell she wasn't happy in this situation, especially now that Suzy was here to add to the tension. We were just eating quietly, and Mom would occasionally inquire about my life in South Korea.
As we finished eating, we entered our room "Love, I'm sorry I didn't know she was here," I murmured as I closed the door.
"I know, you don't have to be sorry, it's not your fault" She answered me but I noticed the sadness in her eyes.
I approached her and touched her face. "Don't worry, I'll talk to Mom" I said while looking straight into her eyes. I saw the tears dripping from her eyes and I knew this time she was hurting again because of me.
"I'm sorry" I whispered as I hugged her.
She shook her head. "Don't apologized, I chose this, I chose to come with you" She answered me.
Thank you, Love. Thank you for choosing me every day. I love you.

Jennie was taking a bath so I went out of the room first to talk to my mother, and when I saw her in the living room with Suzy I immediately approached them.
"Mom, can we talk?" I asked her and she smiled.
"Of course, about what?" We left Suzy in the living room and we walked into the garden.
"What are you doing, you know I'm with Jennie why are you sending Suzy here? I noticed her forehead furrowed at my question.
"What's wrong with that? She's like a child to me and I'll send her here whenever I want" My mother replied irritably.
"But it shouldn't be now, Mom. Please show some respect to Jennie" I begged her.
"Respect? She didn't even respect your relationship with Suzy, and now you're telling me that I should respect her?" She asked while raising an eyebrow.
"She didn't do anything, Mom, it was Suzy and I's decision" I replied. I thought we're done with this issue.
"Whatever you say, I don't want her to be here in my house" She didn't wait for me to speak and left immediately.
I just gasped as I watched her entered our house. I took a walk in the garden first until I reached the pool area and sat down.
"You might be drowning with your thoughts" I heard someone speak from behind me but I didn't look back because I knew who it was. "How are you?" She asked as she sat down next to me.
"I'm fine" I replied shortly and I heard her soft laugh.
"Why did I even ask, I know you're not" She shook her head. "Tell me, what's bothering you?" she inquired, prompting me to turn to her.
She knew me very well.
I took a deep breath before speaking. "Besides Mom, we still have a problem in South Korea" I replied to her.
"That's why you're here, I'm not going to ask what that is, but I just want to say that everything will be fine" She gave me a genuine smile.
She doesn't change, she still has the ability to calm my mind. I can say that she's one of the best.
"Thank you, I honestly don't know what to do anymore" I forced a smile as I thought about the problem we left in Korea.
"Just stay with each other, I know you can overcome that" She tapped my shoulder before she stood up. "Take care of her, I know she loves you" She said before finally leaving.
I went back to our room and saw Jennie arranging our things. "Don't take it out of the suitcase, we'll just stay at the hotel tomorrow" She looked at me because of what I said.
I know she wouldn’t have enjoyed our vacation here in Thailand if we were here at the mansion.
"No, we'll stay here. I want to prove to your Mom that I deserve you" She replied and smiled to me.
"Are you sure? I asked her worriedly.
She bobs her head slowly "Let me handle this, Love" She said and gave me a peck on my lips.
